| What Would Do If Your Date Said To You, I'm Use To Dating Someone Better Looking Than You? Posted: 9/22/2009 6:48:02 PM | I suppose it would depend on how it was said. If it was honest and sincere, I would probably laugh at throw a playful zing back at her like, "That's okay. I usually date women with lower standards. So you're not exactly my type either."
But if it was condescending and attacking, I'd probably laugh and say something like, "Good thing we're not dating. I gotta go," and then get up and leave and go do something else.

No one deserves to be insulted, or to be with someone who constantly insults them. Self-respect tells you to avoid someone who tears you down.
Only you can know if this one insult is enough to end it, but if the past predicts the future ....
It is barelyconceivable that your friend did not realize what an insult his thought and remark were. Find out. If you do not get an honest and heartfelt apology, then stiiirike two!
Is he worth letting him have another chance with you?
