2 weeks ago, most beautiful & amazing person that I have ever met, things were going along fine, then on valentines day her ex comes back around, now regulated to friend zone. Wish I could feel happy for her.......
same thing happened to me bro. This girl I went out with a few times and thought we was hitting it off pulled the same shit and cancelled our valentines day plans to go back to her loser ex that treated her like crap. | |

Posted: 3/1/2009 11:23:33 AM | My last broken heart was in May 2008. I was waiting for a phone call from my boyfriend of nearly 8 years. We'd made plans to go out for lunch as we usually do on Saturdays but when I hadn't heard from him by noon I just knew something was wrong.
To make a long story short, I had his daughter-in-law go check on him. She found him dead on the bathroom floor.
Even though this was not his fault it's been very difficult to move forward with life, with the decision to start dating again and with opening my heart to the possibility of finding love. With that being said I have recently met and started dating one very nice gentleman from right here on POF and we've really hit it off. We've quickly became great friends and maybe that's a wonderful place to start.  | |

I was dating this amazing girl for the since Dec. 18th...this time. We dated previously for almost a year but I kept her at arms length. Ups and downs later, he not talking to me, thinking that her baby daddy was the man for her, finally talked to me again and we kept it friends. Got closer this last fall and started dating again. Had a great Christmas season & New Years. Went for a weekend away to Chicago in January. Talked about our future together. She even told me that she wished I was the father of her childen and not the dumbass who is.
Got back from Chicago, and I was trying to get some things straight in my life (finances) which led to a fight but then we talked about it. The next week one of her daughters got sick and the dumbass was back a bit more, and she slept with him and decided that her whole heart loved him (even though he has threatened her life and at times wants nothing to do with their twin daughters)...the morning that she called me my heart dropped so far and it was just broke. I still tear up thinking about her. I want her back so badly and fix the mistakes that I caused.
I know what some people are going to say, but I never had a real relationship with her. Wen I met her I was married but never told her. Married but knew my marriage was going to end. So I guess I stung her along. And when we got back from Chicago, I told my wife that I was ready to be done and that we needed to be done for us and for the kids. I was ready to tell Stephanie everything and accept what she did in the past and hopefully she would accept my mistakes. I want to have a REAL relationship with her and show her I am the man she thinks I am and who I can be.

Posted: 3/1/2009 12:38:45 PM | | For me, it was 5 years ago. I went through all of the stages, grief, devastation, anger, pity, fear, was it the last chance for me? It took a very long time but I am in a good place now. Some broken hearts, like some relationships, have more of an impact on you. | |

I haven't felt this way in such a long time but what's the point when it's so one sided. There is none. I ended it. Now working at getting over it. | |

Posted: 3/2/2009 8:20:12 PM | Dec 2007....2nd time just as painfull as the first.... but time and another man that gave me butterflies helped it to heel ...that didn't last longer than 6mths but it helped sooth the pain.......
Never close it ..it needs to be open to allow the arrow to flow in from cupids bow...i don't wear mine on my sleeve and can tell the difference within the first few mths but its open for my next love to glide on in who/where ever he may be.... | |

just before all the holidays and his bday. i loved him very much(still kinda love him) and he didnt want to be in a relationship with me anymore and i found out later that he cheated on me. thanks to him, i now have trust issues with people.
it still hurts alot but i know things happen for a reason and surely, there is someone better out there for me=) | |
