| Getting turned on Posted: 2/12/2009 8:31:57 AM | Try a blindfold. It just may allow you to release your inhibitions as you won't have to look him in the eye or see where he's looking and what he's looking at.
As others have said... you will get more comfortable with your body as you mature... next thing you know you'll be wanting mirrors on all the walls and over the bed!

| Getting turned on Posted: 2/12/2009 8:32:49 AM | | Honey, relax and just enjoy. If you confine yourself to one way only, it will become sooo boring and believe me, sex isn't meant to be boring! Good sex is far from boring and leaves you wanting more.... go for it... lights on, on top of the sheets, just enjoy it... | |
|
| Getting turned on Posted: 2/12/2009 8:37:57 AM | You are 19 nervous that is understandable... so instead of the lights blaring like you are getting ready for a porn shoot, try and candle or two... mood lighting if you well, let the bloke know that you are not comfortable right away so think of ways to ease into it... this should let him know that you want to try just not right away... get those fake (electric) candles... so you do not have to worry about starting a fire if you knock anything over...
and hvae fun! | |

| Getting turned on Posted: 2/12/2009 9:07:11 AM | What Redlance said.... and a lot of the others...
Oh Libra... (sorry... habit...) you and your blindfold....
Men ARE visual... we NEED to see our lover. It's impossible for me to have sex in the dark, just can't do it.
I NEED some light because... 1) to see her facial expressions and other body language so I know whether or not I'm doing anything right...
2) to make sure I'm not on her hair or accidentally elbow her or kiss her nose instead of her mouth (that's very important when she has a cold...)
3) MUCH easier to put the wrist and ankle restraints on when there's a little light...
4) because she's just SO damn sexy and gorgeous... even more so when she's cumming her brains out! I waana SEE that!
As for covers.... unless it's the middle of winter and you forgot to turn the heater on, they're just a nuisance... and even then they're kicked off in the first 10 minutes.
Go to the light Hon.... it'll be better for him, which will make it better for you...

But when it's pitch dark, you have to rely on your sense of touch and you can focus on your other senses.
This seeming waif is, if genuine, nowhere close to ready for that lesson. But a caution: she has also started a thread on threesomes, shows a start date on pof of 2005, and her profile says she's only 20.

| Getting turned on Posted: 2/12/2009 9:52:11 AM | Don't get worried about having the lights on. My one friend was like that. Then she got over it in time.
I always have sex with the lights on, it's not bad at all.
And you can see what your doin, no fun being blind as a bat in the dark, when having sex

| Getting turned on Posted: 2/12/2009 10:00:02 AM | ~OP~ Daytime sex is no different that having lights on. I'm a nakie-phobe so I understand where you are coming from ~ but if you've been together a while, I can assure you ~ he's well aware what you look like whether it's dark/covered or light/bare. It's just a little tough to get used to ~ but once you do, it's so much better. If you really aren't comfortable, try a body-stocking or bra/garters or whatever ~ you'll feel reasonably covered and there is some comfort in that. Good luck. | |

| Getting turned on Posted: 2/12/2009 10:31:49 AM | | You should try it not only with the lights on, but where you can see yourself fvcking. Women are as visual in this area as men, so even do it by a mirror and enjoy what you see. | |

| Getting turned on Posted: 2/12/2009 9:07:23 PM | | It seems you are not reaching climax or having orgasium!! When you do those sheets will come off as well as your insecurities. Relax and enjoy yourself it will come !! | |

| Getting turned on Posted: 2/12/2009 10:30:44 PM | Yes you are being weird. Guys are all about visual stimulation. There has been numerous articles on this fact. Go to cosmo's website and do a search you will probably find one.
He just wants to look at your hotness while he's banging you. Appreciate the fact that he wants to do that instead of insisting on having the lights turned off so he isn't repulsed at what he's bouncing on...

| Getting turned on Posted: 2/13/2009 7:51:52 PM | | OP, you are not a freak. You are just very insecure with your body. You need to find a way to solve your inner turmoil. Age helps, but it is usually a long time coming. It might help you if you went to the library and checked out some books on basic sex. That may make you more comfortable overall. | |

| Getting turned on Posted: 2/13/2009 8:14:25 PM | | You sound very insecure, god, i pretty much only do it with the lights on, what is there to be afraid of? men are visual, women can be visual, make it fun for him and turn on the light, you look very pretty and he would probably find it great, most men arent expecting a supermodel. LOVE YOURSELF. | |
