| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/2/2009 3:13:53 PM | ^^^^ He went from one sorry ass team to another. He must not care about the Hall of Fame. He's all bout the fortune and not the Fame. | |
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/2/2009 3:27:14 PM | | I think the Chiefs got the better end of the deal. They'll likely start both of the players they got. It's possible the rookie the Pats get looks good on paper and in practice, but come gametime they realize he isn't ready for the NFL. Happens every year. KC doesn't have to worry about that. We'll see if it works out for the Pats but I know it's gonna work out for KC. I'll take a veteran pro bowler like Vrabel anyday. | |

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/2/2009 5:58:21 PM | | Skoochie that line that he his more into the fortune than the fame,Who isn't in sports and life. | |
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/2/2009 6:20:43 PM | ^^^^Tony Gonzalez, Junior Seau and others would prefer to win than to get a big salary. Their hungry for a SB.
My post was kind of lame in a way that it was trying to tie together the need for greed rather than excellence. The excellence that's required to get into the Hall of Fame. It was kind of lame...I know.

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/2/2009 6:22:36 PM |
I can expect Albert Haynesworth to PUMMEL Tony Homo in ways he hasnt seen.

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/3/2009 11:13:59 AM | Hell I wish I could just get paid the NFL's base salary let alone anything else.

|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/3/2009 12:16:09 PM | Steel,
I would be happy being on a practice squad, they make about 5 grand a week for 17 weeks ...about 88 grand for 17 weeks worth of work...

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/4/2009 9:17:40 PM | | This just in: Terrell Owens was just cut by the Cowboys. Apparently Jerry Jones finally came to his senses. Too bad. I get such a kick out of watching him drop passes, then scream at Romo for the ball... | |
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/4/2009 9:50:11 PM | T.O. was starting to turn into his old self again and that was starting to become apparent this past season, but you could sort of see this coming when the Cowboys gave up alot for Roy Williams this last season. T.O. is starting to become the Barry Bonds of football, pretty soon no one will want him.

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/4/2009 10:36:49 PM | | Broncsbuff you are going to enjoy seeing Brian Dawkinns hit someone. He is a great blitzer and run stopper but is week on coverage now.Your Bromcos are signjng a lot of running backs. My Eagles only signed an OT Stacie Andrews who is comeing off ligament knee surgery from the Bengals. | |
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/5/2009 2:54:33 PM | ProFootballTalk.com is keeping a list of teams that have made it known to them through "league sources" that they have no interest in Owens. As of right now, that list includes:
The Dallas Cowboys. The Philadelphia Eagles. The Miami Dolphines. The New York Giants. The Washington Redskins. The Baltimore Ravens. The San Francisco 49ers. The Minnesota Vikings. The Atlanta Falcons. The Cleveland Browns.
Well the 3 teams on the list that T.O. played for was obv.
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/5/2009 3:44:38 PM | | I hope New Orleans adds their name to that list. It would be just my luck for him to go there. After all the shit I've talked about Owens, it would serve me right if he were to come to the Saints. Shouldn't talk bad about people...you never know when you might need them. | |
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/5/2009 4:03:45 PM | | T.O. CUT ??? Please, tell me i'm not dreaming !! Let us pray....O Lord we thank you for showing somebody the light and cutting T.O. ...amen. | |
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/5/2009 4:34:38 PM | T.O. would be a perfect fit for the Lions. I mean they couldn't go any lower then they did last season. Hell, getting T.O. on that team would be a positive for a change.
Sad thing is he has tremendous talent and it’s all going straight down the tubes. Who knows what might have been for T.O. if he was something other then what he is now. We maybe comparing him to Jerry Rice as one of the greatest WR's to ever play this game by now if things were different.

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/5/2009 7:04:13 PM |
This just in: Terrell Owens was just cut by the Cowboys.
Good, Maybe they might get in the playoffs and finally win a game.
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 3/5/2009 8:45:00 PM | This is the first time that I can remember that both NFL Network and ESPN covered this live at 2am for a player getting cut by a team. I mean was it that big of a deal that they had to break from programing to cover T.O. getting cut live at 2am last night? | |
|
