The Saints winning history versus the Cowboys is .364%

^^^It's going to be 1.000% this season.

Saints only win against Dallas 3 out of 10 games.

Um- Skooch and MGM- remember back in grade 5- there was this thing called math.

.364 % is 3.64 out of a 1000.

1.000% is still 1% or 1 out of 100.

You guys need to study harder if you want to impress a hot young nurse. A worthy goal mind you.

So 4 out of 10- the Saints are due this year.

'Boys- get a coach or somethin'- you should be better than that with all the $$$$ spent so far.

1.000% is still 1% or 1 out of 100

Go ahead and move that decimal two spaces to the right to rid yourself of the %, and you'll find that 1.ooo% is equivalent to 100. You obviously aren't a baseball fan. 1% is equivalent to .01 or 1\100. Do try to keep up, and show that you're smarter than a fifth grader. lol

Skoochie-dude- 100.0% is equivalent to 100 (out of 100).

Baseball- if a team is 81 out of 162 for the season, they are .500 or 50.0% or "500". If you are 1.000 you are 100% or "1000"- saying a team is a thousand is not used in the press maybe because its never been done in baseball. Patriots did it 2007 for the regular season-16 for 16 .
You're 32 and your a student? I can see why.

Yep Skooch- I'm an engineer so we're a bit anal about numbers- so in this case- @hole- guilt as charged. lol

Anyhoo- if ya love the Saints- go to the Big Easy- it's a great city with great folks- I had a blast there. And just make sure to email Straightup for a "Merci beaucoup" (thankyouverymuch)- if you don't you are a cad.

Back to football- Upset special- Oakland downs the NYJets- Raiders found their groove and the Jets are grounded.

truetemp1, I believe that you will find the Jets dominating the Raiders this Sunday. Unless you have been in Giants Stadium on a windy fall/winter day, you can't appreciate how much of a wind tunnel that place really is, and how difficult a place it can be to play. Sanchez got his first taste last week, and it threw his game way out of whack! He will be much improved this week and not nearly as cavalier in throwing the ball around and up for grabs as he was last week. The Jets have a decent D and still have one of the best offensive lines in the league. Look for them to run the ball down the Raiders throats and move Cable one step closer to being fired!
The Eagles, on the other hand, have shown just how overrated they have been this year! All of the hype about them being the same and not going to miss a beat with McDermot stepping in for the late Jim Johnson was just hot air and misdirection. Same system, perhaps, but Johnson was uncanny in his timing of calling the blitz packages and it has not been the same with his replacement! Eagle management grossly underestimated how much the team would miss the presence of Brian Dawkins! He is an intimidating force in the secondary and makes the players around him better! Just ask the Broncos, as they love him being there! Eagles also lost Bradley, MLB and defensive signal caller, on the defensive side, as well as both tackles on the offensive side of the ball in Tra Thomas and Jon Runyan, and both replacements, Peters and one of the Andrews sisters, are hurt and not playing putting a big dent in the Eagles running game.
Don't get it twisted, the Raiders still suck and will lose big to the Jets this weekend!

Nice points Pete but

Jets are on a losing streak. Your quarterback is a rookie and getting exposed. Your big man in the center of your defense Jenkins is out for the season. Your travelling from one coast to the other.
Philly is at least as good if not better than the Jets right now. Vegas has the Jets as a 7 point favorite- little high considering the circumstances. Oakland got their mojo back.

Sure my pick is a little gutsy but you can't have any fun picking favorites every week.

truetemp1, my QB is among the best in the league, not a rookie!!! My QB is Drew Breeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees, with his traveling band of acrobatic receivers!!!

I just happen to live in between NY and Philly and the local papers cover the Jets, Giants and Eagles.

For the record, the Raiders mojo disappeared with Barret Robbins to Mexico just before the 2003 Super Bowl and hasn't been seen since in Oakland!

Well, according Richard Seymour is that Oakland is going to the playoffs....But he didn't say which season.

I truly don't think their mojo was ever there, but if they are going to use this "mojo" I hope it's against the Jets today. Another loss to the Jets and a win for the Patriots will put my Pats in a better position in their division....

Let's go Raiders!!

Well Pete- I live between Detroit and Buffalo with Cleveland just across the lake, so the football news around here is- really depressing.

But Buffalo did beat the Jets last week so- the west coast trip is looking pretty dismal right now. Maybe Sanchez will be happy to be home anyway.

Just got done watching the Steelers/Vikings game. What an Awesome game. A hard hitting, close game with a Steelers win.

Congratulation Steel, you must be happy with your team today. 2 Defensive TD's in the 4th quarter!!!
Vikings played a tough game, but not tough enough. I must say that Adrin Peterson on the Vikings, he is impressive, I like him.

Patriots over TB, no brainer there, however I am surprised that NE couldn't SHUT TB out and only put 35 points up.
Actually I kinda feel bad for the Bucs, and for Leftwich, who seems to have lost his starting QB position to Johnson.

49ers's changed QB during todays game, and finally put some points up, but not enough, with a loss to the Texans. Texans beat the 49er's that surprised me.

3 hours and 42 minutes till Giants play!!! Can't wait!

GO GIANTS!!!!

I said it last week on this forum that the last second winning drives of the Vikings was going to catch up to them sooner or later and it did today. The Steelers put just enough pressure on Farve to get him into that gun slinger mode to the point where he would start winging balls in the air in which he exactly did, which is what the steelers needed him to do to win the game today.

farve's a pretty good slinger (the sun got in the eyes on the one guy), but hes a poor tackler.

the cowboys had all 3 three running backs in the game at the same time and guess who's running with the ball? romo and they almost took his head off.

holy smokes the saints are losing ha ha ha

When are the refs going to start protecting Romo the way in which they protect the other starting QBs? I also thought that there were some holding calls that the Falcons got away with. Nice win for Romo and the Cowboys!

They didn't Kick the Sh!t out of the Giants, it was a close scoring game. They JUST won is all.
Geeeeeeeeze Louis!!!

Saints kicked the Giants butt.

I see the Patsies have been playing the weak teams, 2 weeks in a row as a matter of fact, and Wiz is in his glory. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Yes they did....

Saints kicked the Giants butt.

And yes they did too....

I see the Patsies have been playing the weak teams, 2 weeks in a row as a matter of fact

And I have openly stated that they were easy games to win....But Giant fans bragged about winning against weak teams as if they won the SB.

Wiz is in his glory. Enjoy it while it lasts.

You know which team is really flying under the radar? The Colts. Maybe it's because they haven't really played anyone yet or maybe it's because they play in a weak division, but you never really hear about them.

The Saints had to have had the comeback of the week this week. Wearing my Saints jersey must have really helped.

Yeah Steel the Colts aren't getting the attention the Saints are getting. The Giants are getting more attention than the Colts...media wise. Maybe it's because they had a bye this week or because the Colts have typically been undefeated at this point in the season. Perhaps the Saints or Broncos are funner to talk about right now because we all know the Colts will be there to talk about at the end of the season like every year. My theory is the pundits are tired of the Colts' bandwagon.
