| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/26/2009 5:40:32 AM | | Well I am glad the Jets destroyed the Raiders! And we are at Mid season next week already, boy did this go fast! And to see Buffalo win against the Panthers was good to. Round two is coming vs the Patsy's soon. The Bengals killing the Bears, wow that was unexpected. With the Eagles playing the Redskins either way the Giants can't lose. Don't worry Nancy let them talk their sh!t you'll get used to it. I have to say Homo, I mean Romo and the Boys played a great game. Congrats MGM | |

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/26/2009 7:20:40 AM | Only one team from the NFC South won this week.
GOOOO SAINTS!!!!!!!!!

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/26/2009 12:30:20 PM | Lets go all the way! Undefeated season then win the SuperBowl. 17-0. Only been done once!! By the Dolphins. Oh thats right we beat them yesterday . Bush actually played halfway decent. I think they should add an extra $50.00 to his contract for that TD he made. ha. Looked like a hybrid of Superman and Jordan. However, I seriously doubt the Saints will keep him though after his contract runs out. Hes just a scared RB thats always looking for the big play. Cant run effectively up the middle and inbetween the tackles. His fancy moves he used @ USC doesnt work so well in the NFL. First step should be foward. He typically runs back or to the side...and half the time takes a loss. Besides we got Bell and PT cruiser. The kinda running i'm talking about! They bust their way through the middle. Bring on the Falcons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/26/2009 12:59:52 PM | Yes Skooch. This is the plan.....I plan to make sure the room is super dark. Then i'll slide a blow up doll in bed with you without u knowing. I'll stand in the corner and make sound effects so you'll think its me. After u fall asleep, i'll dispose of the Betty Blow-Up and crawl in bed. You'll wake up, and bam its all a reality to you. | |

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/26/2009 1:10:08 PM | ^^^^He already has his own blow up doll. He named it straighuporiginal. | |

That would be some hot balloony threesome fun. I think Betty could be into chicks.
Hey hey hey, don't knock it till you try it. lmao

Lets go all the way! Undefeated season then win the SuperBowl. 17-0. That would be 19-0 all the way closest one to that was 18*-1 But the Giants took their dream away and they might do the same this year too

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/26/2009 8:53:41 PM | Just a little crazy (part 2). What happened to part 1. Must of went all the way crazy?? Dude are u kiding me?? I was refering to the 1972 Miami Dolphins team that won all their games including the divisional and AFC champship game and the superbowl. 17-0. Record has not ever been broken! You refering to the Giants beating the Patriots two SuperBowls ago is one of those almost doesnt count type of deals. Thanks for the unwanted tutoring session...Football 101. But no thanks. . I think i have enough brains to realize that 16games in a season along with a divisional and conference championship plus a superbowl equals 19 games. I was stating the unbroken record of 17-0. Why? b/c thats what it is and was then. Times have changed. I'll make sure from now on i clearly state things so you can better understand to elimate all the confusion. | |

Just a little crazy (part 2). No that would be just a little crazy "too"
Dude I didn't know they used the term "Dude" in smart-ass Louisiana, very interesting!
I was referring to the 1972 Miami Dolphins team that won all their games including the divisional and AFC championship game and the Superbowl.17-0. Record has not ever been broken! Sure it has, the 2007 18-0 Patsy's prior to the Superbowl

OK then maybe the book "Football for Dummies" will help ya out more. Why do you repeat yourself over and over saying 17-0 three times? I caught that one the first time.
I'll make sure from now on I clearly state things so you can better understand to eliminate all the confusion. Thanks! The spelling would help also.

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/26/2009 11:58:45 PM | | Hello to all. Sorry i have not been around. I'm on medical leave from work and haven't been feeling the best in the world. Ugh.... i needed the Vikings and Bears to win and they both let me down.LOL. steelers i can see, but the Bears lose 45 to 10 to the bengals???? So sorry about your giants Nancy, it was a good close game though. (you look awesome in your new pic.) | |
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/27/2009 12:22:02 AM | | Bengals won't win the division. The Steelers or the Ravens will, but I can see the two wild cards in the AFC going to the AFC North where we could see the Bengals, Raven's and Steelers all in the playoffs. | |

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/27/2009 12:20:27 PM | Just a Little, i read the football for dummies book and in it i found this link: http://www.profootballhof.com/history/decades/1970s/miami.aspx
Read it and get your mind right! The Pats didn’t break shit. They simply had an undefeated REGULAR season, not a perfect season. Dolphins won ALL games . Apparently back in the day they played 14 regular season games. I dunno, i wasn’t born yet. I'm glad i could intrigue you by calling you a dude. Next time i'll be sure to use spell check as well to eliminate all grammatical errors. Wouldn't wanna receive a bad grade from you in this online English/football course. ......here’s what i think about you :
Ok so im sry i've been a little hard on you. Here's a gift special for you: http://images14.fotki.com/v256/photos/7/727379/2623005/hairyass-vi.jpg

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/27/2009 4:10:50 PM | | Yes but lets not forget the 1972 Dolphines had a 14 week season when they had a perfect season. The Patriots had a 17 game regular game season. The Dolphines played a total of 17 games total from the regular season to the superbowl. The Patirots played a total of 19 games from the regular season to the superbowl and won 18 of them. You really can't compare the 72 Dolphines to the 07 Patriots in terms of perfect seasons considering the longer scheduling in this day and age. They are from two diff era's. | |
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/27/2009 4:35:46 PM | | Let's not forget the easy schedule the Dolphins had too. They had only one team during the regular season over .500. Their toughest challenge was during the playoffs of course. However the Patriots season was a lot tougher because the schedule. Let's not forget the Patriots surpass what the Dolphins have accomplished from 17 to 18 games win, except for a "Perfect Season". In addition to several recording breaking between the team and players. | |
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/27/2009 4:46:18 PM | | I agree in terms of talking perfect regular season the Patritos are the only undefeated team in this modern 17 game era to go undefeated. That's why when i see people comparing what the Dolphines did towhat the Patritos did and I never really understood it, because you can't. I mean if we were still playing a 14 week format then yeah you could, but the 2 extra games that you have to play in this modern day and age can make a huge diff. I mean who's to say if the Dolphines had to play a 17 week season that they wouldn't have lost one of those 2 extra games? That's what I mean by comparing the 72 Dolphines to today, you really can't not unless we go back to the 14 week type of season. It's easier to win 14 games in a row then it is 16 games in a row. | |

I'd say the Dolphins had a tougher test. The Dolphins had no bye week the Patriots did. Back then the rules were different you could hit the Quarterback from head to toe. Bob Griese got hurt during the season and back up QB Earl Morrell came into replace him for some games. The Patriots get to put a Red Skirt on Brady so he can't get hurt. Plus the Dolphins won the "One" game that counted the most and the Patriots didn't. Also the Patriots had a coach named Bill Bilicheat who's assistant coaches used a spy camera on other teams and still couldn't get that "perfect" season.
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/27/2009 5:07:39 PM | | Well, who's to say that the '72 Dolphins would have lost the two games? They dominated the their schedule by beating anyone who played them, even through the playoffs. You can't weaken their credibility because they had less games. The best teams were in the playoffs and they beat them. The Patriots didn't. It's like saying the Steelers weren't the best team last year because they faced a 9-7 team in the SB when there were clearly teams with better records than the Cards. | |
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/27/2009 5:18:28 PM | | The best teams are in the playoffs? So you saying an 8-8 team in the NFC that made it to the playoffs is better then an 11-5 team in the AFC that didn't make it? Not hardly, it was mostly the fact that the 8-8 NFC team played in a much weaker conference then the 11-5 AFC team and was the best weakest team remaining in already a weak conference to make it in the playoffs. Just because a team makes it to the playoffs doesn't mean they are good by any means or better then a team that didn't make it and the example I provided is a prime example of that. | |

| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/27/2009 5:25:08 PM | | ^^^^That's the point Skoochie made on his post. | |
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/27/2009 5:28:58 PM | | I was careful in choosing my words. I said "they dominated their schedule"...not "dominated everyone." There's a minor difference there. Still, you can't really say that they wouldn't have gone undefeated if they were on a 16 game schedule. They did just fine with the 14 games. Do you want to start speculating who would have beaten them? | |
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/27/2009 5:30:22 PM | He stated that the best teams were in the playoffs that year The 72 Steelers were hardly the best team in or out of the playoffs that year. That was their first trip to the playoffs.
No the point is you can't compare the 72 dolphins to the pats in 07. Because of the scheduling diff. I'm not saying they would have lost if they had a 17 week schedule but you never know. The point is the pats in 07 had to run the table all 16 games to get there the dolphins didn't which therefore was harder for the pats to win all of their games then the dolphins. Like I said winning 16 games in a row is harder than winning 14 games in a row.

|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/27/2009 5:36:03 PM | ^^^^Back then there were only 26 teams 13 in each Conference.
Do you want to start speculating who would have beaten them?
If Dallas hadn't lost in the NFC Championship game to the skins then the Cowboys would have spoiled the Dolphins perfect season like they spoiled their season the year before in Super Bowl V 24-3
|
| The 2009 NFL Season Posted: 10/27/2009 5:41:25 PM | Reread my post. I wasn't referring to the '72 Steelers. I was referring to last year's team. We can agree to disagree. The '07 Pats only won ONE more game than the the '72 Dolphins. But, the '72 Dolphins don't have any losses in the "L" column. I'll take that over the Pas' record. Hell the 49ers have an 18-1 season...they won the SB though and I'll take that too. Shoot the Bears only lost one game, but won the SB in '85. I'd take that over the Pats record too. | |
|

so none of this was referring to the teams that were in the 72 dolphines playoffs then?
