So, assuming that the experience of being there with another person is far more ellating than the experience of your own hand, sex should last anywhere between 10 and 12 seconds.

Um... the details of length of time are irrelevant. One person's ideal is different from others so I say figure it out on a person to person basis.

Okay, so this post may possibly be inspired by a past experience...BUT I'm not saying either way, because it would be mean and insensitive IF I did
in 5 minutes: the burner on the stove set to High, doesnt even start to glow yet
in 5 minutes: the oven isnt even done PRE HEATING
in 5 minutes: My Lean Cuisine in the Microwave, isnt even HOT enough to eat yet
in 5 minutes: the pot of water i'm trying to get to boil is still barely luke warm
in 5 minutes: the charcoal in a BBQ grill is not ready for cooking ANYTHING !!
in 5 minutes: my running bath water, has not filled the tub enough for me to get in
So...It shouldnt be 5 minutes !! | |

As my GF would always say. Better to have 15 mins of excellent sex than 1 hour of boring sex. Time is not the key, what you do with the time you have makes all the difference.
Here's a study from Live Science Magazine....
A survey of experts yields good news for anyone who thought their sexual efforts didn't last long enough. Good sex typically lasts 13 minutes or less, not counting foreplay.
Penn State Erie researchers Eric Corty and Jenay Guardiani surveyed members of the Society for Sex Therapy and Research, which includes psychologists, physicians, social workers, marriage/family therapists and nurses who have collectively treated thousands of patients over several decades.
The results debunk the myth of hours-long sex as a reasonable goal that lingers in the minds of many supposed under-achievers.
A total of 34 experts responded to the survey and were asked what they thought was the optimal time for intercourse, from penetration to ejaculation.
On average, the respondents in this relatively small survey ranked a duration of 3 to 7 minutes as adequate and 7 to 13 minutes as desirable. Anything less was considered, on average, to be to short and anything more, too long.
"A man’s or woman’s interpretation of his or her sexual functioning as well as the partner’s relies on personal beliefs developed in part from society’s messages, formal and informal," the researchers said. "Unfortunately, today’s popular culture has reinforced stereotypes about sexual activity. Many men and women seem to believe the fantasy model of large penises, rock-hard erections and all-night-long intercourse. "
Past research has found that a large percentage of men and women say they want sex to last 30 minutes or longer, the researchers say.
"This seems a situation ripe for disappointment and dissatisfaction," said lead author Eric Corty, associate professor of psychology. "With this survey, we hope to dispel such fantasies and encourage men and women with realistic data about acceptable sexual intercourse, thus preventing sexual disappointments and dysfunctions."
The results will be published in the May issue of the Journal of Sexual Medicine. | |

Not even wet yet ... 5 for kissing,touching, imagine,while massage stnding up with wine or any other favore drink in kitchen by the counter, 15 minutes gone by. then candles come on,lights off, li***king*** feel each others chest*** no cloths been removed at this point yet .the imagination continues hot to very hot*** you can figure out the next points and circle check. think of a mechanic doing a safty check.How long it takes what does he does? takes one thing at time. You right!!! why rush, it feel so good or should i say super good! why finish the party before the night is over.

How long DOES sex last? About the amount of time for a long commercial break. Followed by a sandwich & a 4 hour nap.
So if I'm really going to show my age I'll refer to the old show Laverne & Shirley. Anybody remember that one? I'll use their technique to tasting beer for MY description of good sex. Sip, Swirl, Suck, Swallow. I think that about covers it.
BTW, the next time you drink beer like that.......Think of me.
I only wish I could be as studly as some of the men here claim to be. I know it's a dating site but far & away the most common thing a woman wants (by her comments) is honesty. So let's be honest. I'm gonna do all I can to make sure she gets hers. As many as she needs. Once she's satisfied, or well on her way, then I start to think about me.
