Dodie and I were talking last night...she mentioned yours, Vickie. Reminded us of our March wedding dates...hers "woulda been" 30 years, and mine "woulda been" 26...had we not divorced. OMG...I suddenly felt OLD! LMAO And unaccomplished! LOL
I married the day before St. Pats...no reason...the date was available?! LOL But people actually were visibly hung over from the previous night, at our reception...I remember that! LMAO | |

I know we still have 26 days to go...lol...(YEP...I am counting!!)...but would really love to get some consolation prizes donated for this. :O) If you have or know anyone with a type of business, whether it be small or large...ask them if they would like to donate something? Giftcards, baskets, products, etc!
The bar is actually providing prizes for the games...but if we end up with a band, then the games will get booted down to just what we can do before the band starts, of course. I think most everyone would rather have live music, however! :O)
Hey...don't forget that there is also the Mardi Gras at the Strat, two weeks before...on the 7th! | |

I still need some DOOR GREETER volunteers...looks like everyone wants to get in on the Kissing booth, instead! LOL
Door Greeters basically man the welcome table, help people with getting a name tag made, point the newbies out to someone to take them under their wing, promote and collect the 50/50 and raffles, etc. :O)
Itsa SUPERB way to meet people, as well as "I Spy" those hotties as they are walking in! ;)
I prefer one of each gender, when possible...so who knows? You might even get partnered up with someone pretty spiffy! :) | |
