| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/26/2005 5:16:37 PM | | It's absurd to ask what is wrong with men over 25 just because your own relationship has sex problems. It's something local to your particular situation. Have you asked him what he wants and how he feels about sex? | |

| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/26/2005 5:25:08 PM | | Not all men are created the same, and generalizations again don't apply across the board. Some men just lose their interest earlier than others more likely due to some change in their feelings for some reason perhaps in themselves or their partner. The reasons for sex drive are complex and there are some men who tend to lose it earlier than others. Yet some older guys in their 70's and 80's still produce. It is likely a matter of emotional baggage, genetics, and loss of libido for whatever reason. You will still find men of a wide range of ages who perform very well over the long term. There is just no way to know all the ramifications of an individuals's physical and emotional problems that lead to disinterest. | |

| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/26/2005 6:58:54 PM | Hi, when I was 34 I married a guy that was 29 (not only cuz he was cute but for his stamina! lol) while we were dating we were going at it like crazy!
6 months after we got married it was once a month if I was lucky :-(
5 years after we were married it was once every 6 months if I begged! ugh!
So we are split up now, and maybe I will just "date" and not marry again, cuz that seems to be where all the fun is lol.

| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/26/2005 7:07:24 PM | Its not the question of finding a guy over 25 that wants sex, its the question of finding a woman that wants to have sex with a guy over 25. Trust me, I am definetely over 25 and am still waiting for the right one | |

| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/26/2005 8:21:55 PM | It's funny as the older I get the more sex I want with my partner. As long as the woman is open about everything in the sack and the more intersting things can get the more the drive is there. I've never said no and I hope I will never have to. | |

| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/26/2005 8:26:39 PM | | for myself its modern lifes pollutants. (of the mind and body) and some neurotic hang-ups and aweful encounters with femme fetales in my own family...but..other than that...I can go to action with the right woman...nightly..except when I'm tired, cardio-vascularly challenged, etc. Not funny. | |

| Here's a message you ladies may not want to hear... Posted: 6/26/2005 8:36:46 PM | I'm one of the older posters here on Plenty of Fish. I've had some time to observe the socio-sexual changes in our society in recent decades, and the alteration of the roles of the sexes during those years.
What I've observed is that women in all too many cases aren't women anymore. A lot of women flaunt their independence to the point that it is a total turnoff. Also, one of the prices of the feminist revolution that blossomed in the 60's is that men aren't allowed to be men anymore either. Today we have an emasculated partly feminized something called a "metrosexual".
There are a lot of diamond-hard professional somethings out there in expensive suits with female genitalia, but they are about as feminine as an eggplant. Hyper-competitive, narcissistically focused on their independence, promiscous, sexually demanding, they can't attract real men--they have to settle for those somethings with penises, because no real man would put up with them.
I'm NOT saying normal men with brains want women who they can run all over. Nothing could be further from the truth. I value intelligence and strength in a woman, and I think most men do. But thousands of years of culture and biology can't be easily erased because NOW decided they should be. I want a woman who respects me, who respects my desire to be the aggressor in sexual situations most of the time. I wouldn't want a woman with whom I feel life together is always going to be a competition, and to whom a career is more important than me or family. A woman who wants a traditional, committed relationship. Such, except in rare cases, aren't women, or even real people. They are things.
Maybe that's male ego you just can't accept. If so, go find yourself one of those docile metrosexuals who is long and hard and who you can use and dominate, or a nice docile girl, because no real man will keep a relationship with you on a lasting basis.
