| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/28/2005 9:57:39 AM | (jackie writes): "From what I understand, the male sex drive starts kicking in around 19-21"
Heck mine kicked in when I was about 10 ("like....what am I supposed to do with THIS thing!?") and hasn't slowed down yet. It is nonsensical. I suppose it could just be one of those temptations I am supposed to learn to resist. So far, so good

Jolie, that was intended as humor. The last thing I am interested in at this point in time is someone living far away in the great frozen north. To borrow a bit of fighter pilot lexicon, there's a "target rich environment" out there much closer to home . Commuting 3,000 miles to get my cookies would be a little ridiculous. Thanks for the consideration though.

| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/28/2005 11:47:31 AM | Hope everyone reads Offmyrocker's post here! Thats what can happen when you give up sex. Been telling folks for years that sex is good for emotional and physical health. Don't know why he gave it up at such a young age, and don't want to know, but I hope no one else follows his lead. Sex is healthy. Sex is good. Sex helps keep us young :) Otherwise, we all turn into crotchety, old, angry people. | |

| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/28/2005 12:24:50 PM | I think you're hanging out with the wrong men!! I am still looking for the woman that can hang with me! Seriously, it's so depressing to meet a woman that you are attracted to in almost every way...the sex at first is GREAT! Then, it always happens, you finally get to meet the REAL woman...not just her REPRESENTATIVE!! :) All of a sudden, you have to be perfectly clean to have sex, or she wants you to rub her back before gettin busy, there's all of these rules and stipulations suddenly attached to knockin' boots. What happened to spontanaety?? Driving down the road and pulling over to have some great screaming-sex sessions, or trying clothes on in the dressing room at the store and suddenly you rip eachother's clothes off and go at it right there!! Those are the moments you remember 10 years from now and make you smile. Those are the moments that make you feel truly alive. (Among other impactful moments you will experience)
I have never met a woman that could completely satisfy my needs past the first couple months. I am confident that I will be confined to daily masturbation rituals as a supplement to my partner's lack of drive to meet my needs for sexual fulfillment until the plumbing doesn't work anymore!! :) But, I'm 32 now and I am definitely not slowing down yet! Always have been a late bloomer! ;)

| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/28/2005 12:48:29 PM | Jolie, I am 44 years old - and I have worn out women younger than you! Yeah, yeah - I know how that sounds - but it really isn't about ME. I don't believe there is any age limit on desire. Barring a medical condition, I think it's certainly possible for men - AND women - to enjoy making love, and to be excellent lovers, on and on and on in life. And keep in mind: Lots of times, older gentlemen are even better lovers than guys in their 20's - because we KNOW stuff! | |

| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/28/2005 1:35:26 PM | I dont' have that problem and I'm 33. I still get hard-ons for no reason.
Jolie if you find that it is always happening to you, you should take a look at yourself. You seem to be really cute and I would ravish to sh*t out of you. Maybe you may not think you are doing anything wrong but if it is constant then somethings up. There is no way there is that many men that don't want sex with a good looking women. Unless there is a medical reason such as impotence.

| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/28/2005 4:59:25 PM | Jolie, I havent posted in a long time. But your question sure got me to wondering if you were putting us on or something. I know the supposed peak is about 19 for men on average. For me that peak was about 7 times per day. I never noticed a drop off although it definetly has dropped off. Its longer and much more intimate and caring and all in all much better than when quantity seemed to be the measure of the man. I guess I didn't notice the drop off because I was enjoying the increased quality too much to notice. I never remember not needing it 2 or three times a day until most recently (I'm 63). For the past couple years, I find Once or twice a week with the same one (assuming monogamy) is fullfilling and satisfying. I cant imagine only "giving" it a couple times a month to a loved one. You gotta be kidding. But then, maybe I'll be talking differently in another 10 to 15 years. Its gotta die sometime before I do, .. or...does it really? Phil | |

| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/28/2005 8:58:38 PM | Unfortunately I didn't get the name of this hit and run..but let me see if I got his statement right...if we are "sexually demanding", we are not feminine?
I also take to task his comment: "I want a woman who respects me, who respects my desire to be the aggressor in sexual situations most of the time."
How about sharing that position dude. If you respect the woman, then you respect her wants, desires and needs, as well as your own.

| What happened to the sex drive of men over the age of 25???? Posted: 6/28/2005 9:25:44 PM | | Often men reach a certain age and believe that withholding sex from a woman makes them sophisticated. It's also puts them in a certain position of power. It may just be that our over sexually saturated culture gives many men short attention spans. | |
