The question is truly provocative. If the Big Bang theorizes expansion, finis coronat, there has to be something to expand TO. I have a, ah, colleague who is part of the Big Bang Theory (did my post doctoral work at UC Berkeley, otherwise known as "Berzerkely.") Let me see if I can ask the question directly.
