| Who loves it when a man ACTUALLY sings to you? Posted: 2/15/2005 8:28:03 PM | I would love it if a woman would sing for me. I enjoy giving what I would enjoy receiving, and so I work on my singing voice to and from school everyday. Any time I am in the car I blast the radio or a CD and just sing my heart out. I have been told that I have a good voice too, but my ex girlfriend could care less. I actually LOVE to sing because I have a good voice and it makes people happy. The only thing is that I hate cheesy ballads and stuff... I would rather sing alternative, rock, or other love songs that I feel have more meaning. Anyways, if you girls want me to sing to you have to come out to Arizona... lol. Peace -Danny- | |

If awoman sang tome, I wouldn't care how good her voice was - it's tehsentiment that counts. As long as she realised how good/bad her voice is, that is. I mean, I don't want to be serenaded by a coraking toad that expects to be told it has a silky smooth voice

Welp... I guess there's not many Fillipino's here... but I know some ladies at work who talk about how after they have a candlelit dinner with their hubby or significant other; they have a karaoke at home and they sing to each other. It's kind of a ritual according to my friend and they do it every Saturday night...

| Who loves it when a man ACTUALLY sings to you? Posted: 2/16/2005 4:54:59 PM | | I have an ex-boyfriend who used to sing me to sleep sometimes... I still melt just thinking about it. He wasn't fabulous by any stretch of the imagination, but the intimacy that came with being sung to sleep at bedtime made his voice the most beautiful in the world. | |

| Who loves it when a man ACTUALLY sings to you? Posted: 10/16/2005 4:30:25 PM | | Absolutely, although unlike many women, I do require actually being able to sing. Sorry, but everyone has his/her talents in life and I really believe that every individual should acknowledge and embrace those talents as well as the lack thereof at times. Being a musician myself, I tend to find that my non-musician partners will try to extend themselves into a realm from which they have not a shred of talent which creates that awkward moment of deciding between, "Gee, that was a sweet gesture, Honey" and "Oh, my God, please make it stop". So, if you can sing on pitch, there are few things more intimate than expression through music between a couple. But, if you can't sing, please don't try - write a poem instead or something (if that is where your talent rests). | |

| Who loves it when a man ACTUALLY sings to you? Posted: 10/16/2005 4:55:33 PM | Best memory I have of this is when an ex of mine wanted to brush my hair for me after a bath. As he was brushing he quietly sang You are My Sunshine to me. It was the sweetest thing in the whole world because it was done very lovingly.
I had this other ex who would sing a morning song to me when I would sleep over at his house. It was in Spanish and very cute.
I love singing goofy songs while laying in bed with someone. I think there's just something about being that comfortable with one another.

My sister married this guy that you never would belive could sing, but when he does he is good. I about fell over from shock when I heard him. Here I thought I was going to get a good laugh. It's a shame he don't do it for more people. She has been with him a number of years, and I didn't know he sung songs like that. To weird, but very happy for her. I was wondering why she fell for him. Now I sort of understand it.

Unfortuantely, I also tend to sing old songs (Sinatra, Holliday, Darrin) and some of the younger gals have had no idea what I was singing. Probably thought I was just making up the tune as I went along.
