well I guess you need to know it's one of the better camping games. I played it for years.
Frisbeer is when you stand about 30 ft apart and put an empty beer can on a block/ brick in front of you. You throw the frisbee at the other persons can. If you knock it down they drink their beer. It's loads of fun sort of like an outdoor caps game. J

If you have a few beers, get wet at least wet once, smell like smoke & need a bath when you get home, then it's still camping. I live 2 blocks from the place & it is awesome to just sit & watch the river flow by as the sun comes up.

Would an air bed be a good idea to go with a sleeping bag or should I bring some blankies as I have several of those??

Bring all of it. I find air mattresses cause me to get really cold, but it does get you off the ground and the sticks and rocks etc. Put the blankets between you and the mattress. Anyone else with thoughts on this? I'm a spoiled "queen" these days - haven't tented in a while now.-

I could be soooo into this idea however, transportation is as always a problem. Is this a provincail campsite? if so, if I can reserve a site, its free for me, and there is usually room for a couple more peeps with me on that particular site. Just an idea. Time will tell. Anyways, I'll keep an eye on this thread and see what transpires.

Spud

Camping just isn't the same without playing a few rounds of Exteme Bocci!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes shy, newspaper is good insulation but nothing beats "skin on skin body heat" to beat hypothermia.
Even with "anti-freeze" in the blood from frisbeer/beersby we could all use more than bocci balls to help keep us warm

Yah yah yah, G-spotter! Easy for YOU to say. There is a reason there are TWO people in your profile photo! ha ha.

Hmm. We have 40 some odd people last I checked. How big is your tent?

EDIT: I know, I'm bad!

I would be interested in splitting the cost of the campsite with anyone whos interested -Im in - even if I dont make it I would still divy up the cash since Im saying I will be there. I would just need to make arrangements with anyone whos reserving it.

The reason the air mattress causes you to get cold is because the cold ground keeps the air cold in the mattress. I found that it was better to put down foam or one of those 1" mattresses that your body heat can warm up quickly.

Oh and sleeping in the nude is better than sleeping in damp clothes like what you wear during the day or bring someone in to steal their body heat.

I remember once it was so cold I tried putting a large rock in the fire around the campfire and when it was time to turn in I rolled it out wrapped it in a towel and stuffed it at the bottom of my sleeping bag.
