I will have to see if I can make this work with my schedule etc...but Camping POF style... and having another reason to come to the island, besides seeing the folks and squeezing in a Comox Valley Coffee Event is definetly an added bonus! @ Phat...hon I will let you know if this "princess and the pea" needs a bunk in the Luxury RV. **winks** thx babe!
The last time I went on a POF camping trip was Powell River in 2006?... And my god..even though it was a small clan...we had a ton of fun... I'm thinking we need to get BigNTall into this one too Phat... then we could really be in for some trouble! hehe
Those that were there would know all about... "And the Point of the Story is".... Not to mention if I had a nickel for everytime I heard the same joke about the bear... I could have paid for my campsite with all nickel's!
Great to see some familiar faces signed up for this event!! I'll have to talk to my people and their people to see if I can do a doubled up trip and squeeze in the folks in Courtenay as well. And if I win the lottery in the mean time...I'll pay for everyone's campsites, quit my job and live life to its fullest!!
FYI: For those that just got excited about their campsites being paid for... I am the most unluckiest person...never win anything... and ususally forget to buy a lotto ticket...so good luck with the eh! lmfao | |

I'll be on board for this camping trip...which will mean on the ferry then onto the luxury 5 Star RV of the infamous Pantherrrrrrrrrrrrr, WhoDeletedMe and/or that PhatFatWater Rat Chica ( Probably got the name wrong "J" but come on... You know me and I'm not making any promises, nor have I ever been able to keep everyone's online names and actual names straight...the simple fact that I remembered your first two...and the likes of the third almost is pretty damn good dont ya think? 
Anywhoo... This fishie is really looking forward to shaking the island up mainland style....For those about to rawk...We salute Youuuuuuuuuu!!!!  Those that know me should not speaketh of any fishie friskin goin on either.... This fishie is too old for them old tricks! You cant make me frisk you unless I want to!!

It's great to see you're coming out for this event.. and yes,
I remember my frisking well (and did have frisk withdrawal
for sometime after that). How could I not remember, if I recall
correctly the bar security (and I use this term loosely) intervened
with threats of tossing us out.... which was pretty hilarious considering
they did not have a problem with us slurping away on the Texas Mickie
of Grey Goose in the parking lot.

He will join me after he finnishes work lol someone has to do it. I remember bailies dipped roasted Marshmallows from our campouts in Sooke ( Zeb) mmm. Got a Heineken Keg cooling now. It will be a good starter lol. If I get out the Absinthe run away. I may not make it out off the park I'm directionaly challenged at times. Shy picked up some Frizzbees. Any one bringing Croquet, badminton ? We must keep active. Got to remember food yes food too. Red bull lol. I hope you're all ready to party and have a great time. Love my POF family and looking forward to meeting many other POFers. You'll know me I'm the quiet shy guy I just type a good game. Really | |

Specials cheers go to our hosts for this pof event, it is such a beautiful spot. 
I just went out there & booked my site (#131) at the office cause it was open. They said you could also phone them to reserve. The girl in the office was really nice.
For those of you who haven't booked yet, there is only 4 waterfront sites left, but tons left elsewhere. It is great place.
I will be bringing some "sharing food" for Sat. dinner. Steaks for everyone! - NOT!
looking forward to meeting all the new fish & partying with all the old fish!!  lol .
let's hope it is sunny or we will all be snuggled up in someone's motorhome playin cards... &

Its a good thing I kinda remember where you live and will just show up at your house so I can follow you to the campsite! @ LFO...looking forward to seeing you too ...infact I triple dog dare ya to camp out with us in the funny farm RV!! I think we need to find an apporpriate name for this said RV... it will be our number one goal ...while sitting around the campfire! Despite what events occurred that nite in Comox/Courteney the police were never summoned and that can not always be said for a great party in Comox/Courtenay.... as we all remember there frequent visits down to the Spit...
Good Call Jon ... On the Czech Absenth (just so happen to have a bottle of captured green fairies) and served with a nice porch champagne always enhances ones music appreciation... :drink:
Jen... you have not been forgotten, and I have probably forgotten all the stuff from the Mid-Island Tune-up.... *Snicker snort snicker* Good call on the tarp over the fallen campers ,,, remembering the motto... "no camper gets left behind"

a couple points of interest about the campgrounds ,,, Great Staff, very helpful, for those camping in sites 114, 105, 103, and sneaking out back for a tinkle .. heads-up for the drop off .... Bundles of wood are available for $5 , Converter plug cables from RV hookup to the Standard 115 outlet are available at the office ,, with a deposit...
