I'll save you some time:
• Very bored, rapidly-aging woman who you're not allowed to touch, often with heroin bruises, gets up on stage and dances with a pole.
• First song: Takes off outside layer of clothing.
• Second song: Takes off rest of clothes and dances with a pole again.
• Third song: Lays on blanket and squirms about; invites people to throw loonies/toonies at the intersection of her legs and torso; possibly gives away signed photos ("Breast wishes, Amber") for accurate shooters.
• End: Tries to retain dignity while picking up change on stage and folding her blanket; goes outside and smokes.
Repeat with two other girls to end the set.
Drink crappy overpriced beer; support organized crime (bike gangs).
In all my stripper-going days, I remember a grand-total of one good one - a girl from the Ukraine who did 2 fantastic Halloween-inspired sets. Other than that, just one big amorphous blob. I think that's what bugs me the most - I like to remember naked women and it does the exactly the opposite.
Women learning pole-dancing for fun => cool.
Women stripping for guy/girl-friend => cool.
Men stripping for girl/guy-friend => probably cool, I don't know.
Women pole-dancing to support drug habit, or doing drugs to mentally continue pole-dancing => not cool.
Of course that's just MHO.

Second time was with people [mainly girls] from work. Was only enjoyable from the conversation I had with someone I never talked to. I see nothing enticing about strip clubs. | |

Posted: 5/4/2006 3:28:29 AM | | Well i have been to all of the strip clubs in edmonton and i would have to say diamonds is the best to go, becasue of the fact you can go down on monday night and wednesday night to enjoy the wet t and water wrestling contests, plus the bar as more girls to guys in the bar and is always busy on weekends, with good staff and attractive dancers. | |

Posted: 3/7/2009 2:06:38 PM | | Showgirls in Fort McMurray, Edmonton and Grand Prarie is awesome, I worked there for some time as a bouncer and a DJ and the ladies are always gorgeous and the staff is great. Better than Calgary where you can't get lapdances. All 3 are very nice clean and safe bars to be at. | |

Posted: 3/7/2009 6:43:38 PM | ^^^ agreed. Honestly you wasting you time and money at alberta strip clubs. The girls are defently beautiful. Lap dances consit of the girl dancing infront of you and thats about it. Save the money go to a night club, you will see alot more and come out with money.
Alberta is no where near ontario / quebec where the ladies give you a show and defently leave you wanting more.
What also really pisses me off is the throwin your toonies/ loonies / change at the girl to try and get it in the pitcher to earn her undies or poster, I mean I have too much respect to throw my change at a beautiful women it just isent right. | |
