We're all supposed to respect the integrity of a woman if she decides she's not ready to go all the way yet, but if the man ends up making that call, then he must be small.... or he must be gay.... or he must be a virgin. Now I'm not saying none of those are possible, but I think lorien_i's explanation is probably more likely. As a man who has been a part of many beer-cooler or bar-side conversations, I know there are A LOT of men who are always horny to some degree and will always jump at the chance to get laid. However, to lump ALL men into that group would be inaccurate.
Personally, I prefer the inclusion of foreplay. That's half the fun! Using the foreplay to build anticipation will result in even hotter sex than you would have had with just a quick *poke poke* and then see ya later. In fact, comparing the two isn't even close. lol

Or I guess it really must be me........ Guess I must be some total freak - according to all the bizarre possibilites you all have come up with. You see, I HAVE DONE EXACTLY WHAT Melissa is talking about (and no - I'm not the one she's talking about). I am a normal (well - mostly) hetereosexual male who was not tired, had no diseases, was not playing with anyone's mind, etc.
Wanna know why I did it (or rather - didn't do it)?
Simple.
She said something or did something to piss me off or otherwise take me completely out of the mood.
Or - I was still in the mood - just not with her anymore. She did not deserve it - she was no longer worthy.
Women do this all the time - what's the big deal? A guy can't change his mind? (Oh right - once we're into sex we no longer have minds....... Gotcha.......)
Now I have no idea why this particular fellow did what he did (or didn't) do with poor Melissa here - I'm just offering up one possibility out of a thousand which I'm surprised to see nobody else posted here - unless I missed it.
And mine is not from conjecture, it is from actual experience...... And it has happened more than once (and if you want to assume that there's some issue or problem with me - go ahead and think that. You weren't there, I was, and you don't know me. But hey - assume away....)

Now, my 2 cents...
I honestly don't see what's so deviant and abnormal about not "going all the way". If it's consistent, then there could be something to look into (some plausaible explanations are in this thread). I've had times where it was just about pleasing her, and I've had the favour returned. Sometimes, foreplay is just more fun. IF everyone gets theirs, I really don't see a problem. If anything, it heightens the excitement for when it does happen.
