Time depends on what you actually put, but should take no more than an hour at most, inc prep time. There are lots of different trifles out there to choose from depending on personal tastes, so do have a look around!!

junipermoon: Did you make these yet? If so, how did they come out? Were they as good as the ones that were store-bought? ALSO...is it 3/4 of a STICK or 3/4 of a CUP of butter or margerine? I'm looking forward to try this recipe as well, but want to have the proper measurements.
Thanks.. ~~Beth~~ | |

I box of chocolate wafer cookies (the thin ones, I think Christy makes them)
500ml of fresh whipped cream ( I put sugar and some amaretto in mine) 1 foil line cookie sheet put prepared whip cream between each cookie and make a log out of it once finished with cookies cover whole log with whip cream Take one cookie and crumble fine crumbs on top of log roll for decoration...place in fridge for minimum 5-6 hours. You want to cookies to absord the moisture from the cream they become like cake.
To serve cut on the diagonol and garnish with fresh berries...

| Best Dessert Posted: 4/28/2009 9:47:23 PM | Sex in a Pan has to be one of the all time favorite deserts!!!
So many options, so many choices!!
A lady at a function I was at made a super pretty bowl with cheesecake cubes, strawberries, whip cream, custard.. It was very pretty and they ate it up!!!
Also another great desert is a Skor Chocolate Trifle. Layers of chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, whip cream, crushed skor bars.. You can layer this into any container.. a deep glass bowl works best to show the layers off.. I saw this done in a fancy large vase/jar as well.
Anything that shows those layers off!!
