Cover with slice of toasted rye if you are a closed sandwich type of person. Now modifications: Try some sliced raw garlic or thinly sliced cooking onions that have been bled with salt and stood 20 minutes. Mayo added can bring in a 3 dimensional quality to this dish. A guy from Switzerland clued me in on the idea of jam and fish.
