Peanut Butter & Banana
I love this but to me it is even better if you toast the bread and make it peanut butter, banana and jelly, which sweetens it up.

| WEIRDEST SANDWICH YOU HAVE EATEN Posted: 3/25/2007 8:51:06 PM | i don't care what anyone says... peanut butter and dill pickles make an amazing sammich
when i was growing up tho, the most disturbing one that i was fed, was one that my dad thought up (he looooooved makin' meals up). 'member those grilled cheese sandwich makers? like waffle iron kinda dealios? well, he'd throw on the bread, then take mushroom soup straight outta the can, slop it on one side of the bread, then cook 'er up. I can't eat mushroom soup to this day 'cause of that.

| WEIRDEST SANDWICH YOU HAVE EATEN Posted: 4/1/2007 2:32:42 PM | I regularly eat:
Lightly toasted rye + jam (your choice but strawberry or raspberry seems to taste best) + a flat layer of sardines (in mineral water) on top + (optional) anchovy bits sprinkled lightly over + a couple dashes of weak or diluted hot sauce here and there. Cover with slice of toasted rye if you are a closed sandwich type of person.
Now modifications: Try some sliced raw garlic or thinly sliced cooking onions that have been bled with salt and stood 20 minutes. Mayo added can bring in a 3 dimensional quality to this dish.
A guy from Switzerland clued me in on the idea of jam and fish.
A complex but delicious combination!
