| WEIRDEST SANDWICH YOU HAVE EATEN Posted: 4/5/2007 6:46:05 PM | | As a child, I used to make rice crispie & peanut butter sandwhiches. I can't remember the last time I had a peanut butter sandwhich. I don't like peanut butter on it's own or with bread. Give me a big chunk of chocolate with peanut butter that's different. Then again, give me a big chunk of chocolate with anything and I'll be happy. | |

| WEIRDEST SANDWICH YOU HAVE EATEN Posted: 4/5/2007 9:35:09 PM | peanut butter and banana peanut butter and cinnamon sugar peanut butter and blackstrap molasses tuna, chopped hardboiled egg and cottage cheese mixture - quite tasty but weirdest for me that I ever thunk up on my own was a chocolate hazelnut spread (Nutella), strawberry jam and cream cheese on multigrain - tasted more like dessert than a sandwich | |

| WEIRDEST SANDWICH YOU HAVE EATEN Posted: 4/5/2007 9:49:03 PM | the grossest sandwich i EVER saw was camping last summer...
the only food we had left was a rice a roni package and we were soooooooo hungry we had a few slices of bread left...but the bacon and hot dogs were all gone. The guys made the rice a roni and slopped it on the bread.
I literally wanted to vomit...i of course waited and thankfully found the last bag of chips in the car....

Garlic toasted sanga.
I could have sworn you said "Garlic toasted Sanjaya".
Now that WOULD be odd.
Every sammich I eat is a work of art and not in the least bit odd.
At least compared to YOU people!

peanut butter and blackstrap molasses I eat molasses raw all the time so that sounds good to me. I have to try that!
Nothing too weird, here. I would rather go without than eat rice a roni on bread. I'll eat the ricearoni but not on bread.
Probably cream cheese with green olives, but I really like that combo.
As a matter of fact if its white bread I will usually go without. Give me whole wheat or something else or I ain't eating it. I can go days without eating if I need to, and I have. Fasting ain't no big deal to someone who spent half their childhood in the hospitals with living on sugar water IVs for a week at a time. You know hunger then, and you learn it sure as hell won't kill you!
Plus if Ghandi can do it so can I!

| WEIRDEST SANDWICH YOU HAVE EATEN Posted: 6/21/2007 9:24:22 AM | You haven't lived until you try a Pirmanti's sandwich.....
Your choice of meat (hot sausage, roast beef, ham, capicola, etc), egg, french fries and cole slaw slapped between two thick pieces of bread.
Nothing sounds better at 2 AM after you've been drinking all night.
That place gets PACKED on the weekends.

| WEIRDEST SANDWICH YOU HAVE EATEN Posted: 1/4/2008 10:18:42 PM | A neighbour always told this story .....they had a dog and she always gave him half a tin of ALPO , looked and smelled like ground meat ...the other half she put in the fridge wrapped in wax paper ... her son worked nights, and arrived home from work at 1 am,... he always ate like a horse and had a big appitite ....he would always make a dagwood sandwich.. out came the dog meat wrapped in wax paper , he thought it was leftover bully beef.... which his mom used in stir fry... he would load the sandwich with everything... even lettace and lots of mustard !!! ... it always had 3 slices of bread.... One night his grandmom got up and saw him doing his sandwich,,,she nearly died when she saw the dog meat go into the sandwich.... she did`nt say a word as she was too sick to her stomach....next day she told her daughter in-in-law what her son was eating !!!...... his mom never wrapped the leftover dog food,..she left it in the tin with a cap on it,..so he could see it was dog food...... He never did find out....and lived to retirement .... This all happened 55 years ago.... | |

| WEIRDEST SANDWICH YOU HAVE EATEN Posted: 5/9/2008 9:22:23 AM | | Years ago my son made himself a sandwich with crusty bread, extra-strong Capicolle, chedar cheese, and peanut butter. It sounded so odd of a combination that I just had to try it. Oddly enough, it was delicious. | |
