As someone who met someone here and would call it a success, I'll tell you what would have made a difference for me on your profile. (You would have been in my search range for age).
1. more photos
2. start out right up front saying English is not your first language. It just can't be. That would have made it more forgiveable for the spelling and grammar and I would have read it with the right accent. This also makes for an interesting conversation starter.

Posted: 3/23/2009 2:37:27 PM | I've been thinking about this profile all day. The OP seems genuinely confused and thinks we're giving him a hard time. It was sticking in my brain because something just didn't feel right.
Are there any doctors in the house? I'm not being facetious here. I wonder if the OP doesn't have some kind of aphasia...that weird kind of brain damage that messes up your perceptions? It's possible he's had a minor stroke or trauma and doesn't even know it. I've heard of wacky things like not being able to draw pictures, or unable to speak in lucid sentences even though they understand perfectly well. Considering he's not in a particularly literacy-based profession, it's entirely possible he's been getting by without even knowing it.
I took this years ago in basic psychology. I just wonder if it's not his fault at all. I don't suppose we can dig up a professional to help?
