Had a blast tonight and to all the ones that made it, it was great meeting the new ones and the same to seeing friends already made.

Cant wait to do it again!!!!! Be warned I am bringing my camera next time so I can have photos of R-N-D combing his hair  Heck I dont even know how I found this thread I guess even a blind squrill finds a nut from time to time | |

Had a fun time and couldn't believe how BIG place was. Parking, it's there but you might have to walk a way to front door.
Know if you don't WALK around you won't SEE everybody there, last night, 2 ate and was there a HOUR, before finding us in front of band area.
Has 2 bars and HOT!!! HOT wings.
O.K. A lot of mild to very hot sauces.
Also other things to eat, if wings not your thing.
Staff was fast and very helpful.
While didn't get there MONSTER BEER Container, think some will that day in April.
What was it, 152 ounces?
Know there going to have to move table's back, when band starts for April's event.
Well let put it this way, HOPE THEY do, some don't need a DANCE floor.
While don't have PHOTOS to share, will have at April's event.
Again thank you all that came and hope OTHERS post and use this forum as just spur of the moment gatherings, or anything about Parties/Celebrations/Get Togethers! | |

Posted: 3/29/2009 12:50:44 PM | I am going to try to post to this thread again, since last night while we were out having a few, thinking that WTL's computer had a few also, since when we got back to her place, I signed in and tried to post and well, the thread 2 above says it all. Sorry about the confusion that it caused!
To those that came out last night, THANK YOU!!!!! If we have that kind of group show up on the 25th of April, what a shin-dig it will be!!!    
The ones that didn't get to make it, well no worries, we will make ya'll feel very comfortable come time of the M&G. This place is going to be absolutely AWESOME for our M&G and the staff and management seemed very excited about having us there!
RND, can't remember how much beer that container held, but since we are both Miller Lite drinkers, will be glad to share that MONSTER with ya! We are not kidding at all when we say MONSTER as it did hold over 100 ounces, like 162 or somewhere in that neighborhood and the cost was OUTSTANDINGLY reasonable!!! If ya'll can't do those or can't find someone to share one with, they also had buckets of beer which was cheaper than buying individuals also.
I only have one regret and that was not going out to my car (which was parked out in them woods) to fetch my camera! There were so many great moments which would have turned into priceless photos!
To my "crew", it was great hanging with you guys again.........we always seem to have a blast no matter where we hang! Thanks for placing this thread on here RND! Was a fabulous idea!!! And next time, if I need to, I can bring some hair gel for you so you won't have to fix your hair so much!!!

Had a GREAT time with everyone again.....as usual! Thanks CW for the invite and getting us together! We need to have cameras everywhere on the 25th....will be some good pics I'm sure! 
As for the MONSTER beer holder.........GREAT PRICE! I don't think I can hold that much, but will be willing to share with my friends!

Posted: 3/30/2009 3:24:21 AM | I am game for another get together (pre-party) at anytime, but just let me know. Since I was out this past weekend it will be a couple of weeks before I will be able to get out again, due to kids going to their fathers' every other weekend.
I think that maybe we should just own up to just liking the fact of hanging out together and stop with the pre-party stuff............we just love having a blast!!!!! 
I had a great time and made some new friends............what more can a person ask for???
Maybe we can try out that place that T sassy was talking about..........Mulligans or something like that? Just give me a heads up and will do my best to make it.

So with that weather, how about a hike. Meet at parking lot. 9:30 A.M to 10 a.m..
Start at 10, at parking lot, go at your pace. Meet at falls, than break. Walk back and than met in Gatlinburg for late Lunch.
At first Restaurant on left at red light, leaving Smoky Mt. Park Across from K.F.C. Anybody know name, I ate there last time was there but can't remember name. Thanks telling me, if know.
Laurel Falls
Laurel Falls is one of the most popular destinations in the park and parking at the trailhead is limited. The area is especially busy on weekends year-round and on weekdays during summer. Laurel Branch and the 80-foot high Laurel Falls are named for mountain laurel, an evergreen shrub which blooms along the trail and near the falls in May.
The trail is 2.6 miles roundtrip and considered moderate in difficulty. The trail is paved and is suitable for strollers.
Access trail: Laurel Falls Trail
Trailhead: From Sugarlands Visitor Center, turn toward Cades Cove on Little River Road and drive 3.5 miles to the trailhead where there are parking areas on both sides of the road. | |

Posted: 3/30/2009 6:30:46 PM | I doubt that I will get to make it this weekend as I have my kids and my son and a couple of his friends are going to be here at the house practicing. They have the makings of a band except for a bass player at the moment. Just starting out so they are having fun with it now and I don't think that they realize all the hard work that is going to go along with it...............But hey, they are teenagers with a dream and isn't that where reality starts anyways??? With a dream???
So, I guess I will be at home jamming with the kids this weekend while ya'll are out enjoying the nice peace and quiet of Mother Nature.
I hope that the group that gets together for this weekend has a great time!

I created a message board (completely free) where we get together and chit chat, post jokes, ask for prayers and post "during the month" get togethers. We are now up to 77 members. We give out the web address at every get together. Works out very well for us.
