| Am I old fashion or are guys better looking in jeans and a tee? Posted: 3/24/2009 6:24:01 PM | Jeans? This is the primary reason I chose the name I did for this site.
OP, I wouldn't say that you are old fashion, but rather age appropriate.
In general, I would say that what we found attractive when we were coming of age and awareness of the opposite sex, will continue to be attractive for a long time.
I know that checkered double knit pants are age appropriate for older gentle men, but it wouldn't suit me. At the same time, pants with the crotch at the knees are appropriate for younger guys. Again, not for me.
In addition, I find a woman that dresses age appropriate attractive.
I think it all has to do with the era we come from, and jeans and t's were the rage when most of us around 45 years of age were coming into our own during the teen years.

| Am I old fashion or are guys better looking in jeans and a tee? Posted: 3/24/2009 6:36:40 PM | Well I wear jeans and a tee shirt for work ( construction) and after reading the posts here I now know what a few of those women may have been thinking ( other than I wonder what they are building over there..lol). I do try to dress for the situation though and always do so with comfort. Long gone are the days when I wore the infamous speedo, but then again, back then I was working out six days a week and could pull off that look. But keep posting ladies and I will sit here and take notes | |

I have done extensive studies concerning this phenomena, conducted surveys and I have conluded that the OP is correct... men in jeans" are...sexy, sexy, sexy.

| Am I old fashion or are guys better looking in jeans and a tee? Posted: 3/24/2009 9:10:03 PM | ^^^^ Since I live in jeans and shirts (see my pictures) I am SO happy to hear this!
Mind you, I think the tux look is fine, but I not only don't own one, but there is no where within 300 miles or so that I could (or would) wear one. Come to think of it, I don't even own a tie, much less a suit, any longer. So I'm happily stuck with the jeans look. C'est la vie, n'est pas?

unfortunately they resemble my father when they show up with the dress pants and a button up shirt ...normally some sort of plaid or stripe....
Yep, gotta be jeans and bonus points if they have cowboy boots on! The top can be pretty much anything, except a golf t-shirt or short-sleeve sport shirt.
At home, love it when a man shows off his chest (assuming he has one worth showing) and wears nothing but jeans with bare feet........mmmm so sexy, but oddly enough pics like this on profiles, don't do much for me.

| Am I old fashion or are guys better looking in jeans and a tee? Posted: 3/24/2009 10:21:22 PM | My first choice is all about the man ... then ... if he's in a nicely fitted tee with the nicely fitted, very stylish jeans, that really "show him off"!!! Yumm...mmy!!! Entirely too sexy for his shorts, that's for sure!
I have to agree with Bluez in post # 2 if he lets me wear his button down shirt and I can put it with my boy shorts, my fitted jeans, or both ... mmmm ... I might do for him what he does for me!!!
Leaves me wondering ... where are those fitted jeans anyway???

If your wearing flip flops with nasty looking feet...eck Speedo's no one should be wearing those nasty things unless they are in a swimming competition. In S. America I saw "way" too many old men wearing old worn out speedo's joggin on the beach ...that was disgusting

The ones in my profile are at least 25 years old. Sure you can read the newspaper thru them but ....... hey.

Posted: 3/25/2009 12:18:43 PM | | l don't think jeans and t's are old fashioned, but l could be wrong. l wear jeans socially 100% of the time if they are appropriate attire. The t-shirt not so much, but no polo's or button downs either. All my jeans are low cut and new, not some holey old rag looking crap. lf a guy wants to pull off the look, it has to be sexy and smart, not 2nd hand chic.

| Am I old fashion or are guys better looking in jeans and a tee? Posted: 3/25/2009 12:40:45 PM | I agree with another poster that it depends on the cut of jean. Don't wanna see no droopy drawers... and I ain't just talking about the gang banger look but also the what-happened-to-my-a** baggy butt look. As expensive as a good jean is getting these days you would think folks would take the time to turn around in front of the mirror and look at em from the rear. I have news for ya (and not just the men). Our bodies change. What looked good on you 20 years ago may not be what you should be wearing now. I guess a plain white T that fits properly is alright (especially if the man has a bit of tan going on) but I prefer a henley. Personally, I love T-shirts with writing cuz (if it is something they picked themselves) it shows a lil' personality... what appeals to them. Like... the other day I saw one that said "Silence is golden, Duct tape is silver." Obviously a parent. LOL! | |

Posted: 3/25/2009 2:06:36 PM | It depends on the man's build....I see so many men in jeans that they wear under their huge guts and then buy extra large tee shirts to wear over the gut (maternity-style), that sometimes it's a turn off.........
I kinda agree with Pazoozoo

| Am I old fashion or are guys better looking in jeans and a tee? Posted: 3/26/2009 2:47:38 PM | yep I would say a nice dressed person does wonders... Sometimes even a tux or just a dinner jaket and jeans, sometimes shorts are cute. my favorite thing is to picture myself walking up to a young guy whos pants hang down to their knees and pull them off. Baggy pants just don't like good. I heard in New Orleans they are illegal.. So guys dress they way you like and always look your best.... | |

Well OP that is taking it a bit far..lol. Try instead to help them by pulling them up instead. Preferably farther than they should be ( think wedgie ) I know I cured one lad that way( my cousins son). He never again wore them like that and his girlfriend still thanks me for that

Luckily, he left them over a friends house last summer; so he spent the summer in a pair of tank shorts.
This is how I know Jesus loves me.
I like most of the clothes he wears. His mother has good taste.

And this "I see so many men in jeans that they wear under their huge guts and then buy extra large tee shirts to wear over the gut (maternity-style)" - yeah that's hot LOL I much prefer a man in a well-cut suit and tie, though there are so few occasions for a man to dress that way these days.

And Landra.......not all men have huge guts hidden by maternity tops, some of us have smaller guts hidden by t-shirts.....lmao
By the way.....wranglers were fine when working the farm, but for me the best fit has always been Lee jeans, especially boot cut with real boots worn by those of us the understand what their purpose were long ago.......
OT.....I enjoy wearing jeans with a dress shirt and leather jacket, but somehow that shirt always seems to end up being part of someone's personal attire, and I have to ask to have it back.
Just my opinion.......
