3-0 is a good start but so far they have only played one decent team out the 3 teams that they beaten
I agree, which is why im still unsure...but we have given up one touchdown in three games. Our defense looks very good. I dont care who your playing, but giving up one td in three games is good anytime.

| Anyone follow the Broncos? Posted: 9/28/2009 6:08:23 AM | Broncs defense so far in these last 3 games only allowed 16 points total and that's not bad at all too. Not bad coming from an offensive coach. What are the people saying about Josh in Denver? They must have forgotten all about Cutler....At this moment I bet? | |
|
| Anyone follow the Broncos? Posted: 9/28/2009 6:29:22 AM | Its still about 50/50 wiz. We have played three subpar teams, so everyone is unsure. Im starting to like him. He is winning me over that is for sure.
We shall see coming up...Dallas, Pats, Chargers next three games...now that is a test..

| Anyone follow the Broncos? Posted: 9/28/2009 6:39:24 AM | | cmd1957a, have you been taking "getting hit in the head" lessons??? Cutler is not now, nor will he ever be a "franchise quarterback"!! Cutler will show flashes of brilliance surrounded by lots of thoughtless interceptions and average play. If he can stay healthy, the Broncos are much better off with Orton! | |
|
| Anyone follow the Broncos? Posted: 9/28/2009 6:44:29 AM | The Broncos next 3 games are tough challenges. The Patriots will be in Denver in a couple of weeks. Josh knows Tom Brady strengths and weakness, so that might be an upper hand for the Broncos. You already know who I will be cheering for....No need to explain, but I'm glad to see Josh start the season good. Maybe the team are believing in his system. | |

| Anyone follow the Broncos? Posted: 9/28/2009 9:55:54 AM | | Pete...You can not like Cutler and granted if I were a Bronco's fan I would probably feel the same. He whined his way out of Denver which was BS, but to not acknowkledge that his skill set puts him at franchise status is simply football retarded. If you dont think he is a franchise QB you are about the only one that doesnt. Orton is a game manager...the performance you saw Sunday is typical Orton... 56 percentage comp, 6.8 yards per attempt...the 91.2 rating higher than normal his lifetime rating is 72.9. You think you are better off with Orton??...I am guessing that a majority of Bronco fans dont agree with you ...but hey Ill check back at the end of the season and see how you feel then. So far The Broncos are 3-0 and good luck to them! | |

| Anyone follow the Broncos? Posted: 9/28/2009 12:36:06 PM | | Next week is going to be where the real battle for the Broncos begins. For the next 5 weeks they are going to really have to play well. As far as i'm concerned the only team in their division that poses any sort of threat is the Chargers. Other then that they should sail by the Raiders and KC in that division. | |

| Anyone follow the Broncos? Posted: 10/4/2009 11:46:04 PM | Romo was on his @$$!!! See the Defense is For Real. Orton doesn't throw INTs.
Bring on Brady - he always plays bad in Denver......
Of Course Plan 9 can shove it - Eli hurt his foot.... Where's the $$$ sucker!! Maybe we can break his leg for you.....

| Anyone follow the Broncos? Posted: 10/5/2009 10:19:27 AM | cmd1957a, You must have thought that Jeff George was a franchise QB too, with the great skill sets that he possessed. Watch and see if Cutler doesn't lose as many games for the Bears as he wins! You keep watching and reading the QB ratings instead of the wins and losses and you'll be fine and happy.
Just for the record, I'm a Saints fan and we have our franchise QB in Drew Brees, thank you, who in another few years will surpass Archie Manning as the best QB in team history!

| Anyone follow the Broncos? Posted: 10/6/2009 6:30:15 AM | | broncs, I don't know what, if anything, you may know about Archie Manning but he was one heck of a QB! He and his career suffered from the lack of talent around him. He ran the ball, much like Randall Cunningham of the late 80s, early 90s Eagles, because he had to or get flattened since he had no protection to speak of from the offensive line. | |
|
| Anyone follow the Broncos? Posted: 10/6/2009 7:21:53 AM | I never said Archie Manning was horrible, but we are talking about a qb with a record as a starter of 35-101...I know he didnt have a lot of talent around him. He never had a winning record with the saints for 10 seasons.
I have a friend who is a siants fan who tries to tell me everyday how "great" of a qb Manning is. Great to me is Elway, Montana, Unitas, Manning (Peyton), you get the idea....people throw around the "great" word WAY to much...
125 tds...173 ints....this isnt much for brees to surpass as a qb..hell an average qb can pass that....
again...not dogging him. He was a decent qb, but great?....not even close..
|
| Anyone follow the Broncos? Posted: 10/6/2009 8:48:35 AM | | I think QBs are judged by their victories and then stats. That's why I normally rank Montana above Marino. Montana has more SBs and the way he was clutch in the fourth quarter. If Elway had won two of the four he lost, he would be the best because he would then have as many SB victories as Montana along with more appearances. Elway has the most appearances with six right? | |
