Posted: 4/4/2009 11:07:34 AM | Thanks Cherokee for giving me a smile and a belly laugh for sure. Things are getting a little rough up North. I'm hoping it doesn't cause a "trickle down" effect.
Dance cards were something that were used in the 1920's (could be wrong on the date) I think.
Guys would go to a dance hall and pick out a girl they wanted to dance with and she would put his name on her dance card. Of course he paid her for the dance. We just use that as a form of expression now to welcome anyone to dance with you, and you don't get paid for it.

I have a party on the 24th and if I can get this old body moving 2 nights in a row I wanna come see my old friends Platinum, John4ever! I haven't seen you guys since Ashland! Course all my other buddies I get to see on a regular basis!
Perhaps I can bring the short blue bus from Canton and bring some buddies! Sounds like soooo much fun! | |

working on swinging by N Canton, Wooster, Wadsworth
and any where else on the way ... I am also hoping to make
a whole weekend of it with ya'll!!!
Oh wait, one problem, I am looking around and just realized
that I forgot where I parked the bus last time we had it out!
That was a long time ago ... Cherokee, do you have it or did
that handsome devil that I was with take it home .... !
