I HAVE to kiss a woman to have any idea if I'm going to be interested or not. With a kiss you can FEEL her energy, her sexuality, and her motivation. I reckon kissing is fundamental in determining the quality of the next 'step'....but I must say in my experience that a less-than-great-kisser has been a great bed partner, however better kissing would have made the experience better still (my most recent lover, whom I'd known for more than 10 years) had halitosis (- hope I spelt that right) and where everything else was mind-blowing, the bad breath meant the experience lost something....plus too much saliva, he really needed to swallow before he went for the deep tongue thing, did he think he was mother bird??? I prefer "passionate" or "sensual", and it is a critical component of the erotic dance, as two become lovers. A passionate kiss, in my experience is the gateway to surrendering self to become an "us", for that moment in time.

I guess it's like anything else in life when it comes to trying to define what makes a person or moment (or kiss) stand out from the rest...it's best left undefined IMO and accept that some things (or people) are meant to be and some are not.

Bodies touching bodies, hands start to wander and touch, and bam there go the fireworks. Of course it has to be someone you are into/find attractive for the fireworks to go off.
