Wonder though about the shopping, have ya ever found something you really wanted, got it home and months later it still sits unused in the back of your closet

| Do You Ever Feel Like Your Shopping on POF? Posted: 4/21/2009 1:39:58 PM | | The bad thing about shopping.....you LOVED it when you first saw it. Had to HAVE it, you get it home, try it on, doesn't look right, clashes or doesn't fit right. But you keep it around thinking perhaps it will be better later. Later it is the same old story. So, how long do you keep something around that doesn't work for ya?? | |

So far I've never felt like I'm shopping on POF, is that because... so far... it's free? No cuz I was on another site and never felt like I was shopping either. I really do enjoy the events and forums more than dating. I don't like dating!

| Do You Ever Feel Like Your Shopping on POF? Posted: 4/22/2009 9:45:08 AM | Shopping...yes, that’s what I feel like I/we are doing here. First we enter our password and walk through the door. Then I check my mail (much like picking up the store flier at the entrance) nothing grabs my eye so I continue down the isle that say's MATCHES...you look around a bit before noticing the same old stuff that has been on the shelf for months but your cravings for something good keep you in the store and I continue aimlessly tapping my fingers on the mouse making the sound of a wobble(somewhat like the sound of a bad shopping cart wheel) as I turn the corner, I see the unmistakable VIEWED ME isle, so I stroll through, look around a bit, then I see something shiny and new and I start to thinking...dang, that looks purdy good. I reach up to take a peek at the ingredients and it reads something like this.
Museums 29% kayaking 11% rock climbing 11% opera 46% football 2% sex 1% - + 1%
that's when I realize... I could get sick from that. Oh well, there is always tomorrow.

| Do You Ever Feel Like Your Shopping on POF? Posted: 4/22/2009 12:43:00 PM | I didn't say "hate" I said "didn't like" - there's a difference, right?
Why don't I like it? Maybe relating to the topic of this thread, the "getting to know you" first stage of dating feels like starting a new job. You go through the interview, if they hire you you're on "probation" for 3 months while they analyze your performance and before any benefits kick in. Meanwhile they can fire you at any time and you have no choice in the matter!
Not knowing the person, figuring out what to do and when, for some reason just annoys me! But then, I'm easy to annoy, so it's probably better I don't date!
Honestly though I have had lots of fun on some dates.
