| Men in their 40's, attracted to women in their 40's? Posted: 4/28/2009 3:22:20 PM | ^^^You could use those weapons of destruction as "buoys"!!!! I have this mental pic of our Mr. Flye a floatin being held up by two sets of....well, you get my gyst! Our Mr. Flye, whatever shall we do with him. Is this what happens AFTER altzheimers? Illusions of grandeur?
OMG....kk
OT: I don't and can't speak for the other ladies here, but I can date either way, either older or younger. Much prefer older as in close to my age. Don't need to teach or babysit tyvm!

| Men in their 40's, attracted to women in their 40's? Posted: 4/28/2009 3:43:16 PM | I've always wondered if those fake "boobies" could be made to double as a USCG approved flotation device. Seems like a good idea, to me. I mean, they're supposed to stay up. Right?

| Men in their 40's, attracted to women in their 40's? Posted: 4/28/2009 3:50:53 PM | ^^^ I doubt they would qualify as they have to be a high visability color like orange ( spray on tan might be considered for that) or they need to be able to flash at night ( oh such a pun in the making there** smiling with my oh so evil grin** ). Either way I would love to be on the certification board | |
|
| Men in their 40's, attracted to women in their 40's? Posted: 4/28/2009 3:57:15 PM | Sorry Mr. Not...spray on tan doesn't work as it washes off. So floating devices with a spray tan wouldn't assist our dear Flye! Mr. Flye? Are you ever ever gonna share that dashing, charismatic pic of yours with the rest of us? I realize that I am way way too old for you darling, but simply for posterity's sake?
OT: What was the topic again? Oh yes, as I have previously said, sure you will have those male and female who tests the younger waters. If that works for them, great! But not everyone is that way.

| Men in their 40's, attracted to women in their 40's? Posted: 4/28/2009 4:24:04 PM | Hmm.
Surely there is a a way to surrmount the problem of using a water soluble compound.
Perhaps, Mr. Not, we should co-author a research proposal and submitt it to the Fed.
What shall we title it?
Perhaps:
"A research proposal to determine the suitability of surgically enhanced boobies doubling as a life saving flotation device, dependant on substantiated, and permanent, nocturnal visiblility of said boobies"
I'm sure it'll take a lot of time and hands on effort, but hey....saving lives is worth the effort.

| Men in their 40's, attracted to women in their 40's? Posted: 4/28/2009 4:38:41 PM | Mr Levi ...I do like the title and the idea of life saving research on the subject has great merit. I am sure the research aspect of it will require long hours of "hands on effort" but I am willing to make such a sacrific in order to save lives.
I wonder if we shouldn't apply for a government grant for our research efforts to help defray the costs we will most likely incur ? I hear from another thread that coffee can be expensive and I think in order to facilitate our research efforts we would need to purchase such beverages

| Men in their 40's, attracted to women in their 40's? Posted: 4/28/2009 4:40:47 PM | Mr. Levi and Mr. None? I must commend you on your dedication! Pppfffttt who am I kidding?
OT: Would these so called devices be of an age of 40 or so? If not, you are not within the topic my boys! Or is that buoys? Gawd, I am so confused!!!

| Men in their 40's, attracted to women in their 40's? Posted: 4/28/2009 4:41:26 PM | Tanning pills maybe? I've heard they give the skin a nice orange carroty glow!
I'll take two buoys over the boobies as my life saving device though...two muscular, hot, funny buoys. Hey if Gad can dream, so can I!
OT....oh hell why start now?

...So are you saying you be willing to volunteer to head a research project such as this in order to provide some 'hands on experience?' That's quite a sacrifice.
Edit: Damn....just realized I'm well over forty, that disqualifies me from even being in this thread

Thank God I did not have to since I had my hands full, so to speak, with the other two. Life is great! Mr Gaddfye could you please post a picture of yourself so your stories would be more believable!!! Right now I think you're blowing smoke, but you could prove me wrong or you could disappear and play your game somewhere else.....the ball is in your court....

Saving lives, or boobies, at any age is a worthy pursuit.
I would think that any woman oufitted with USCG approved "boobies" would also be required to retain a first responder certification. Therefore, would have a kind of hypocratic oath to leap to the occasion when she hears, "Man Overboard!!!"
As you can see, it's not all fun and games with you ladies that obtain certification. It's a big (hehe) responsibility.
Just remember, a lot of bouys will be crying wolf just to get a hold of your....uh, life preservers?
Don't worry. As Mr. Not reffered to, there'll be a training/certification program to assist you all. We'll help you determine the difference between a real cry for help and someone pretending.
It's not a sacrifice Ms. Mae. It's our pleasure to help-out mankind.

| Men in their 40's, attracted to women in their 40's? Posted: 4/28/2009 5:24:50 PM | Ladies don't fret as my research phase will be in the 40 to 52 age group ( we have to stay within the topic of the thread after all). So you see we are working within our own age group. Exclusions to the age bracket may be made upon occassion but will not be considered the norm.
Our primary reasons for such is that this age range has been found far more often on todays cruise ships and we find it vital to have appropriate resources "in place" as quickly as possible.
Miss Buckeye I am sure you would be able to find someone to help you research the "bouy" subject. But you have limited yourself to a 25 mile radius so your test subject pool will be diminished ( sorry but I couldn't resist getting that in there ).
For those wishing to participate in the reseach project feel free to contact Mr Levi or myself for information regarding the project.

OT: There, how is that for playin with fellers my own age!!!
Oh Mr. Flye??? Come out, come out wherever you are???? And alas, I have blown my 10 posts for the day darlins! Have on without me! *sigh*

Apparently she is so excited about the thought of saving lives she skipped reading the last line of my last post. I admire her spirit though

rotfl here!
On topic: I really hope there are some men in their 50's who want to date women of the same age. I know when I go out with some of my younger female friends men my age will pay much more attention to the younger women and it's rather discouraging.

Well she could if she calmed down a bit and read that last line..
Perhaps I should go check the my inbox
OT. You see why I choose to stay within my own age range? Younger folks would have never gotten the gist of the humor nor would they be willing to play along or be able to do so as well as you all have.
My appoligies to the OP.. I didnt mean to take this off topic but you have to admit it has been fun.

Aww Mae you must have missed the line about exeptions being made.. and I think your exceptional.
Kinda makes me wonder if I was perhaps too technical in my previous posts. If so it was Levis fault as he got me in the frame of mind of proposing something to a goverment agency and I was comsumed with wording of said statements.
With the price of coffee nowadays we need the grant money to fund our research.
OT: One day I will get back there..

Don't forget your southern hemisphere friends! Well, tell me...did Moonie report for duty privately? Did she bring the buoys? Has Gadders revealed his outer beauty to the world? WHAT HAVE I MISSED????
OT: I hate playing with guys my own age..they're boring and they've got boogers.

| Men in their 40's, attracted to women in their 40's? Posted: 4/29/2009 6:34:24 AM | We await Mr. Fly's report from the high seas...as last noted he's involved in a clevage war between two 30 something and 40 something passangers. Inquiring minds want to know if the age appropriate passanger is involved in the skirmish?
Not being involved in government research and programs, and thus, not qualified to be a technical writer...I can only offer my" hands on" experience as part of my resume`in my application for investigative research assistant...and, of course, the close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean affords me the opportunity to volunteer my services aboard all cruises heading to the Carribean Islands...Bermuda...The West Indies...And I know that the voyages will be a grueling experience...having to stay up all hours of the evening....and the occassional early rise/r. But, I think my tactile senses make me a perfect candidate for the position of investigative research assistant...and look forward to using my "hands on" experience in the effort to save lives.

| Men in their 40's, attracted to women in their 40's? Posted: 4/29/2009 8:35:50 AM | Considering the physics of the problem (buoyant force vs body mass and all), the proposed apparatus would likely be impressive when water borne, and on dry land when suitably supported by an appropriate engineering marvel from Victoria's Secret. Regrettably, however, I fear that deprived of such supporting equipment the spectacle presented by these devices when unadorned may not elicit the kind of physical response that one might otherwise anticipate.....

| Men in their 40's, attracted to women in their 40's? Posted: 4/29/2009 10:07:21 AM | It is NOT about the age, but much more about the condition one is in, and how it makes the total of that person look.
Life takes its toll on all of us, and common sense, along with logic and ability, will rule who one is attracted to, date, and have a relationship with.
Now, the sad part is when one keeps hoping and looking for this, but can not offer it themselves, and thus the game is on for who can get what from whom, and why that happens.
OT.........I am all for dating anyone my age, older or younger, as long as the attraction is there for the both of us, the chemistry possible, and compatibility a given.
Just my opinion.........
