My Dad liked that song an all - he had the record; i can recall one Sunday morning, he had purchased a new tape recorder and he was trying it out. He got us (me & my sisters) to sing that song whilst he recored it

Also love Hypnotized (eerie!), Go Insane, Trouble, Gold Dust Woman, Rhiannon, Sarah, Big Love and Tusk. Stevie's Beautiful Child brings me to tears... Reminds me of my own beautiful babies (sniff).

In a way i could see a few of the groups views as to try and better there last album, plus always being compared with original members. In reality we have been in that situation joining a work place or a family always being compared to the one that left.

| favourite fleetwood mac record? Posted: 5/2/2009 4:59:54 PM | Go Your Own Way, Sarah, Rhiannon. Definitely one of my all time favourite bands and one that conjures up some wonderful memories and then not so good. | |

The short version of Albatross, I think it was called Seagull.....
Nearly......it was called 'Songbird'!
And a wonderful track it is, too. Recorded in a large warehouse-type building or auditorium with just Chrissie and the crew (the guitar was added later, I think).
The words are as powerful as anything she has written, and mean just as much to me now as they have always done......
It's probably my favourite Mac track, although I love 'Everywhere', 'Chain', 'Go Your Own Way'.......God, there's loads of them!

| favourite fleetwood mac record? Posted: 7/5/2009 2:45:55 AM | The only way I can put an answer to a question that has Fleetwood Mac and Favourite in one sentence would be to say:
Their swansong. | |

| favourite fleetwood mac record? Posted: 7/5/2009 4:28:37 AM | I love Big Love that's just fab and makes me horny. Tango in the Night is just soooo dramatic.
As Long As You Follow - that's gorgeous
Albatross of course
Isn't It Midnight - I just go into dream land when I hear that song
Songbird is beautiful, Eva Cassidy did a good cover
Go your own Way, Chains, Don't Stop - all the Rumours Stuff
Black Magic Woman - Love that too
Oh I love em all and did manage to see one of their line ups live once which was special.

Rhiannon
Go your own way
But the absolute best is Big Love - such a sexy song. I love it long time.
I also loved Micks one off double act with Sam Fox Do they have plans to re-form I wonder????????

| favourite fleetwood mac record? Posted: 8/2/2009 12:47:47 PM | Just One?
The Chain for me.
When i was going through a hopeless period of trying to learn to play the guitar, this was what i really wanted to play.....
Now i need to search my mp3 collection for it.
Very under-rated band imo

| favourite fleetwood mac record? Posted: 8/2/2009 12:50:57 PM | Too many to mention to be honest.
For those of you that do like FM, you might want to check out a band called Little Big Town who have a very similar sound.
Listen to "Bones" or "Fine Line" first and you will see what I mean.
|
| favourite fleetwood mac record? Posted: 8/2/2009 1:57:50 PM | | I liked the "Bob Welch" period. "Mystery To Me" was a favorite and I love listening to "Hypnotized" and "Miles Away" | |
|
| favourite fleetwood mac record? Posted: 8/2/2009 2:06:25 PM | Rhiannon is my all time favourite...I named my daughter after the song. She is quite happy about it but doesnt like that fact that no-one can spell it and you can only get keyrings and cups etc with her name on when you go to Wales
My son Danny who I named after... Ohhh Danny Boy the pipes the pipes are calling....hehe... doesnt think its so cool to be named after a song.
