you yankee haters make me laugh.Who's your team? The Mets? The best franchise in sports. So tired of hearing about the money. They won 20 championships before free agency. Now what?1996-2000 we won with our farm system. Now what.Know what you are talking about. You root for the yankees to lose before your own team to win.Get a life.Where's your team now? We're in the ALCS ****!Oh yeah, Arod too!

yes i hate the yankees and i also think baseball needs a cap, of course you are sick of hearing about the money thats because your team can spend more then anyone else. yes you are in the alcs, thats true but is that really the goal for the yankees? i thought it would be to win the world series, and you havent done that yet. i do think you guys will beat the angles but i think the phillies are going to give you a run for it.let me guess u think arod is great now, what a difference 1 year makes, wasnt ur fans just booing him not that long ago? best just to prove that iam not just a hater, i wish you and ur team best of luck, i hope they lose but thats just me

The real problems with the yankees is the fans. You have generations of fans who pay sky high prices for tickets. Those who can't get tickets pay sky high cable bills for YES Network. Yankee hats and jackets in all sizes. Stories handed down from generation to generation. And the owner has the nerve to spend it on his team. What type of nerve is that.

As much as I'm opposed to the idea of a salary cap, I do think it would be interesting to see how the Yankees would change if one were to be implimented. Especially since Steinbrenner once upon a time made no secret of the fact that he preferred to buy his teams and ideally would prefer not to even have a farm system. From what I understand, Jeter wasn't even going to be a Yankee originally. They would have used him as trade bait for something more ready made. But he kind of slipped through the cracks onto the roster.
