Problem With The Yankees?

Is that they are going to win their 27th c0ck ring because they bought another championship.... Which means more bandwagons to add to the list.

How much do championships cost? The yankes have spent a billion plus since their last one. If you can't compete with a company that's been in business for over 100 years get out. Money dosen't buy heart, love, everlasting life, or a championship. It can buy you entertainment and we are a very entertaining bunch.

My true colors? Emulating to be an jacka$$ is usually considered to be okay from a Yankee fan, but take my word for it, trying to duplicate JaC's a$$ is just not worth it. Be yourself....Pal....Donk....Buddy....BIOTCH!!!

"Poster" singular....You 'Yankee fan' donk!!! You know, understanding what you write can make you a better reader....Donk Pal!!! And being a better reader will help your retention process. If you can fix that? Then you wouldn't have to criticize me of something you do the same. Just remember DONK, your cheap shots certainly gone below belt too.

(in your 'lame' come-backs at me)

And your comebacks are strong tasting? I'm sorry if my "come-backs" hurt your feelings....Pal! I didn't know how all of a sudden you were thin-skinned....Maybe because your Giants fell 3 straight....Maybe because Eli wasn't worth 97 million....Or maybe there could be a slight possibility the Yankees may fall tonight (GO PHILLIES).

in order to make up for your FEEBLE mental capabilities

Feeble is for the birds....And Sum1 I know that is a Yankee fan....And closet bandwagon Yankee fans too.

MLB needs to have a salary cap to allow parity in the league. It is true that the Yankees won the world series, but did they really win?, were the majority of their players developed through their minor league team or bought as free agents from other teams(Sabathia, Burnett, others)? If the answer is they were developed through the Yankee system, then congratuations on winning the World Series. Even if this is the case a cap is needed.

The only problem is everybody hates the yankees success. This argument is tired if we lose money cant buy championships. If we win money bought the championship. You cant have it both ways. We have the greatest closer why should he make 5 mil when someone will give him 15 mil.

Exactly! People that are fans of other teams always cry that we bought success and blah blah blah..I bet if it was THEIR team, they wouldn't saying it. :)

Bottom line: We win and are once again the best!!!

Out of the 25 player roster that won the world series last night, approximately half of them came from the Yankees farm system.

Alfredo Aceves
Joba Chamberlain
Phil Hughes
Phil Coke
David Robertson
Mariano Rivera
Andy Pettitte
Jorge Posada
Robinson Cano
Derek Jeter
Ramiro Pena
Brett Gardner

The other half were essentially purchased.

Brian Bruney
AJ Burnett
Chad Gaudin
Damaso Marte
CC Sabathia
Jose Molina
Jerry Hairson Jr.
Alex Rodriguez
Mark Teixeira
Johnny Damon
Eric Hinske
Nick Swisher
Hideki Matsui (played in Japan before coming to the Yankees)

Which half contributed more? Hard to say. Seems about half and half. So perhaps half of the Yankees won the world series.

Every team has players bought and paid for and farm system help. So that argument is tired also. The whole thing about the yankees is the fans. We support our team through good and bad. We have an affair with our team. Met fans also. Baseball is popular in NY depending who you root for you are always hitting that bottom of the ninth HR or pitch that strikeout to win the WS. We love our team and the owner gives us a product we want to support. I would say steeler fans are like that. Laker fans. You know teams with traditions. You want to fix baseball get rid of 4-6 teams and you will have a better pitching pool.

^^^ really, i swore that i saw a boat load of empty seats when the yankees where on t.v., then again nothing says"We support our team through good and bad. like empty seats. yes i agree steelers fans are like that also, but thats my point about a cap, look the steelers are able to win championships with out having to out spend every other team, they do it by being smarter then most other teams. the yankess dont win by out smarting people they win by outspending them. and dont give me if it was my team i would see it differntly, iam a red osx fan and i think baseball needs a cap. also getting rid of 4-6teams wont help if there isnt a level playing feild with a cap, it just means that those good players from those 4-6 teams would go to the yankees, sox, mets or angels.the fact is no yankee fan wants a cap because that takes away the only advantage that the yankkees hold over the rest of the teams in mlb.
