How many people do you know online, that can truthfully tell you that they have found the person of their dreams online and are planning a future? They send a pic and I find that I/theyare not physically attracted to me/them (words are not enough, and I believe there must also be physical attraction). This makes things very awkward and I/they do not with to pursue this any further with me/she also feels down because her/my pic is disappointing. This is a no - win situation which could have been avoided by just having a pic on the profile in the first place.

If you are seeking something there is a good chance you will find it. I am totally open to online love or whatever and I am defiantly not in it for meaningless sex, I would much prefer meaningful sex, with lots of spankings and naughty talk. But moving on.
You always have people badmouthing this or that, and claiming it's "the way it is" or whatever, who gives a rats ass? Not me that’s for sure.
You get to meet people online that you would never otherwise know existed and some of them are not more then 50 miles from you, that's pretty neat.
Now all I need to find my 'special lady' take her out to a nice night of McDonalds in my mercury villager and top off the evening with some irrelevant nerdtastic movie quotes that no girl ever gets because for some reason only my guy friends get them.
Yeah, that's right, she knows I mean business when I pull up in my mini van with the crack in the windshield. You better believe the mojo's working baby.
I'm like David Bowe in the Labyrinth, only my codpiece is smaller.

Me personaly i think the internet is the same u chat with ppls u dont know , talk on the phone , meet up , spend more time together etc... Y couldn't it work , its not finding love in all the wrong places... Am not saying everyone will find love on here but internet is a hell of alot easy now then going out and meeting ppls.. :)

I think what pic people choose to post can make a diference too. I may be wrong, but I get the feeling the ladies want to see the guy's face mostly. | |

Yea, what's up with that? Do they have something to hide? Or is it that they are ashamed of the way they look? I'm not afraid of the way I look even if I don't fit anyoe's fancy; I would never hide my idenity... Plus if the woman has no pic's I'll send no e-mails.

as for why guys or women, either one, do not display their pic it's usually down to personal choice isn't it? i met one person who if they had put their picture up many fellow actors etc would have recognized them. i have my reasons, too. personally, for me, i want to generate interest based on my personality reflected in my profile and posts, not my wonderfully funny and sweet good looks (that was me being sarcastic)
