| The shaving craze Posted: 9/28/2009 6:29:56 PM | It's nice to know I'm not the only woman with this problem.
I'm not in a relationship, and I don't have sex. There's no need for anyone but me to see what's down there at the moment, so I don't shave. I'd wax, but it's too expensive for me right now. When the time comes that I may have to reveal all then I'll invest in waxing.

| The shaving craze Posted: 9/28/2009 7:46:13 PM | So shaving is a "fashion trend" is it? Hmmm..I don't know about other women, but I don't often (read: ever) see anyone's **** but my own..and I like it bare. It is, for me , cleaner, more comfortable, and not only makes me feel more attractive, it also enhances sex. And, for the record, I have never, ever had a man complain about it. Quite the opposite in fact, I have received very flattering compliments..but I digress.
It doesn't matter if I am sexually active or not, I maintain it for myself, and my own pleasure. Even one day's growth makes me feel out of sorts..but, it's just personal preference. Every one has their own likes and dislikes, that's what keeps life interesting, isn't it?
Have fun!!

| The shaving craze Posted: 9/28/2009 7:50:12 PM | | shaving for me is just a hygiene thing..plain and simple | |
|
| The shaving craze Posted: 9/28/2009 8:10:09 PM | | its a complete turn off for me if a man likes hair down there or under arms. | |

| The shaving craze Posted: 9/29/2009 3:53:44 PM | Why can't people accept that this is a personal preference? Why do we all have to justify our personal preferences by making everyone else a freak? I'll say one thing - if I was in a good relationship with someone THIS would be WAY down on the list of things to break up over!
In issues of body hair I find my preferences change to match the attributes of whoever I'm dating...because WHO they are has a huge positive influence over how I perceive such minor factors.

Pit and pubes - don't shave, just trim. And I trim when I want to trim, not when others think I should. So don't be surprise if you see a bush either at the pit or the pubes. Tried shaving, didn't like it.
legs - if I'm a good mood I may shave... about once a friggin year.
I do what I like. When I like. Don't like it - fuggit and fuggyou.
Shonuff. | |

| The shaving craze Posted: 9/29/2009 8:41:28 PM | | i would just like to say that i personally trim things up but i dont go bald< but i have been having this discussion with my friedn recently. she has never shaved before but her man wants her to, i think if you get with a man like that and start doing it, it is hard to stop. personally i have to keep doing it because it itches so damb bad when it grows back. | |

| The shaving craze Posted: 9/30/2009 1:06:45 PM | I tried shaving "down there" for the first time 2 years ago just out of curiosity. I'd never done it before and I wondered what it would look/feel like. I honestly never thought it would be something I'd keep doing. Well 2 years later and I'm still doing it as I absolutely love the feeling of being smooth in that area.
Everyone is entitled to their own preference in all areas of life...I don't like Indian food but I would never tell someone that they're wrong for enjoying a curry. If this is such a big problem for a man in the bedroom I would hope that we could come to a compromise. There again it would be worrying to me that a man can only see me for my "bits" rather than the person I actually am.
As for the hygeine issue...I haven't noticed any particular difference however I do have to say that at that certain time of the month there are no more squeals from the bathroom as a rogue hair gets caught in the applicator tubes!!! Sorry...tmi!!!
