Yep.... LA only needs to win one at Orlando.... It's a lot of pressure on the Magic to first win those three in a row at home... then one in LA.

It was a great game though... Magic played good... Lewis has a great touch.

lakers shmakers. i have faith in orlando to take out the shmakers and shmobe. all they have to do is not turn over the ball and play better d and shoot the ball better. i actually know the magic will win the next 2 at home. shmakers suck on the road.

Well, the Magic definitely showed they don't quit against the Celtics and Cavs. Jameer and Rafer need to hit their shots though for the Magic to have a real chance.

The Laker's have it in the bag. Too bad, the magic have played well. Live by the 3 and die by the 3. last night the magic could not find the basket. lakers were 21-9 on the road this year, not to mention the laker's beat the Nuggets at home twice including the game that won the series. laker's can take one of the three on the road.

You liked that block on Kobe at the end of the game huh?...

Did you also like the block Howard got on Gasols stuff at the beginning of the game?...

Oh wait... his hand came up through the cylinder.... A missed goal tending call....
It was a fun game from start to finish... no one dominated... just close fun basketball.

I just hope Magic wins their first game at home.... to make a series out of it. The Lakers mindset is winning the next game... not just one out of the three.

Lee could have really changed things if he made that shot. As he was circling the pic, somebody grabbed his arm, just enough to ruin the timing of the play, so when he caught it, he was a little too far under the backboard and couldn't decide if he should bank it, or roll it straightaway, and he just geeked it...I knew given a second chance we were going to win the game. The Lakers will win this series because Orlando is just two dimensional, if Van Gundy was smart, he would have watched Houston tape and send everybody into the paint, but they just jack the threes while Howard is doubled, oh well, it almost worked...

Has NBA always been 2-3-2

They switch it from 2-2-1-1-1 to 2-3-2 for the final.
I'm thinking for the last 20 - 25 years.

I don't know what all the referee conspiritors and pissin and moaning is all about.
The Maj came a half an inch from winning it.
Perfect play by coach.
Perfect inbounds pass from Hedo.
Perfect pick from Howard.
They just gave it to a guy who couldn't finish.

2 for 2 in this series so far in predicting the games and how close they will be and sure enough i was right in game 2 by predicting a much closer game. I'm predicitng another close game but this time the Magic will win tonight instead.

Courtney Lee is giving Kobe fits. At a level like Bruce Bowen used to. Magic got a steal drafting that kid.

Dwight Howard needs to develop a real post game. All he does is try and outjump everyone, but the Lakers are too tall for that. I keep waiting to see some evidence he's actually learning from Ewing...a spin hook, a step through, something...but he never seems to show much more than raw athleticism.

Great game again. The Magic played great tonight and I predict them to continue to play this way in game 4. The Magic now have a total feel for the Lakers now and I wouldn't be surprised if the Magic take all 3 games at home. I mean if they continue to play like this they have a great shot at doing just that.

Kobe had a horrible 4th quarter. He was horrible from the free throw line also. You are not gonna get a bad game from Kobe very often. This could be a bad thing, now Kobe has something to prove in game 4.

The Magic are not gonna shoot 75% from the field in the first half again either. One of the best games of the playoffs so far, Magic are back in it...should be intresting game 4....

The one stat that stood out was something like 67% shooting and the Magic were only up 5, 6 and 7 at that point. I don't know. It's gonna be rough.

Will the magic shoot 67% every night? Most likely not. great game however. In fact the Magic are playing in the Finals because they are a good team. Question is can the magic beat the laker's? Magic are still down by a game.

It'll be 3-2 going back to LA for Game 6. Who's up in the series will depend on how well the Magic play at home. They've been next to unbeatable at home in the playoffs. The Lakers will have to play better denfense then you saw last night to win one down there. Holding the Magic to 62.5% shooting isn't going to do it. If they play like this the next 2 games, it'll be the Magic going to LA with a 3-2 lead. To answer Jack's question earlier, if you had to define the Celtics by one player, everybody would consider it Pierce's team mainly because he's been there the longest. But they win because they play as a team of those 3 as well as the supporting cast. (Better last year than this year.)

yeah I believe it was Bryant who grabbed him in that pic. A foul call go against Bryant, especially at the end of the game, ok now you're just delusional. But as an NBA fan, I'm glad they didn't make that call and have the officials win the game for the Magic. The teams won game 2 on talent which is the way it should be. Granted though, Lee should have made that shot anyway. Oh well. You don't want the officials to start dictating who wins the games, if you're a Magic fan you don't, because the Lakers will win a series determined by the officials, the league favors LA, so of course the Lakers will win if the officials make the calls.

ALright howard is not hungry enough he is just like a young shaq he is better actually. but kobe is the best player ever. all the stats say that the lakers will win and they will. Lie kobe said he isnt finished and its on in game 4 kobe is dropping 35. It is not yet dwights turn his team is to young only 1 out of the 5 teams to come back from 2-0 has happened since they changed it to 2-3-2. Phil has never lost a series when winning the first game. You might as well face it orlando fans LA is taking the title home series will end game 6.

howard is not hungry enough

I just love when random fans make assumptions about players without knowing them personally or even having a conversation with them.....

tell me, in your expert opinion would make you say that howard is not hungry enough?
have you coached him?
have you played with him in a pickup game?
did you raise him?

he had 21 points and 14 rebounds....what else do you want him to do?

Play defense like he did the first two games....Lakers need his defense more than him scoring.....

Both teams need to get back to playing defense. Game 3 was like a FIBA game...tons of scoring but terrible defense.

It matters more to the Lakers than the Magic though, because with all the firepower the Magic have on the wings, the last thing you want to do is get into a shootout with them.
