Even though Dallas won in 5 (I thought the Spurs could at least have pulled out 2 wins) instead of 6 or 7
I will say Boston is playing tougher than I thought they would have, without Garnet, and I give them a slight advantage of taking game 7 at home, but will stick with the Bulls in 7. | |

Pierce, Rondo, and Allen still dominate. Game 7 is Celtic's specialty. I wouldn't underestimate the C's just because they don't have KG. Big Baby has really stepped up his game and and their bench points are really growing. I have faith. I think they'll take Orlando in 6 *maybe 7 just because they love it. I would love for them to go to finals but to be realistic, it will prolly be Cavs vs Lakers. As long as the Lakers DON'T win, I don't care who goes to finals haha. | |

I totally agree....It's like a sequel for the Celtics trying to make it to the finals, but each round it takes them 7 games to do it....It's nerve wrecking. | |

Posted: 5/5/2009 10:56:20 AM | It's only game 1, so I really don't have much concern with the Celtics first loss in the second round. I believe the Cetics are a little tired with Bull's series, but you can't complain with how the Celtics played in game 1 with the Magics. They were down by 18 points and rallied to only be down by 5....Not bad in my opinion. I agree with you about KG, he's sure is one of the missing links for the playoffs. If we had him, I think the gamse would be a lot easier for the Celtics.

Posted: 5/5/2009 11:41:22 PM | I want celtics to win also, but the reality is Celtics have no chance without Garnett and Poe. Garnett and Poe are the two main defenders of Celtics and without them, Celtics have size issues. Glen Davis, Perkins, and Brian Scalrbrine are not good enough to take turns on to guard Howard. Even if they double and triple team howard, he could always pass the ball to deadly three point shooters like Tergolu and Rashad Lewis.
Without Garnett, Celtics have become a two men team only. They are now relying heavily on Paul Pierce and Ray Allen. Ray Allen's shots didn't fall during the first game and as a result Celtics lost the first game. What if Ray Allen goes cold through out the series?
Ever thought of that?

I have a love for the celtics and they are my team. Win or lose, I am proud of them regardless. Feel free to voice yourself on how you feel but dont ask me questions on why I feel the way I do. Tonight will be interesting and I cant wait for the results.
