| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/10/2009 11:15:17 AM | I want to see the Cavaliers in the Finals.
In the NBA, I'm with the little guys- except when they're facing the Lakers.

| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/11/2009 12:00:20 AM | As of right now, don't count the Celtics to be out yet. Last night was a thrilla in Magicilla!!!!

| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/11/2009 1:03:13 PM | last night was absolutely amazing!!! BIG BABY DAVIS!!!! enough said right there. That game was def a nail biter but I had faith the whole time. I especially liked how the coach for magic jumped for joy right when Davis shot and then he SUNK IT!!!! hahahahahahah Let's hope that the fans can help the C's out at home on tuesday. Definate plus!

| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/11/2009 5:45:48 PM | Good night for Boston on the whole. Bruins stayed alive, Pap got out of a huge jam in the 9th by striking out three in a row, and Big Baby made the shot of his young career. I love how Van Gundy said he called the wrong defense for that play and it was his fault they lost. Total BS if you ask me... because he did actually call the correct defense... which was to force the shot to Big Baby. Big Baby just made the shot. I like the Celtics in seven, even without Poe and KG. Bottom line is the Magic can not stop Rondo 3 games straight. Rondo is really becoming one of the best players in basketball nevermind just on the Celtics. Go Boston!
The Rockets win was nice to see too.

| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/12/2009 3:10:57 PM | As a Cabs fan of course I want them to win. I have said though since before the season that the Cavs will lose to the Lakers in 4 or 5. I have changed my mind. THe CAvs as of 5-11-09 remain the only unbeaten playoff team. They win by double digits every game. They are on all cylinders and look unbeatable. However, the Lakers are just Godly like. They have been beaten and earler in the season they beat the Cavs twice. Yes, the Cavs didn't have all their starters, but the lakers had Andrew Bynum missing in their second win over us. i still think the Lakers will win but in 7. I hope I am wrong.
Also-to any Boston fan--I think it's sick that Boston has to cheat to win. Garnett is out but they ar ehuge bullies even with him. It not an opionion, its FACT. Sportscenter and Sports Ill. have also picked up on this. They foul-or cheat-slap-get away with what they can. The refs should have thrown out Rondo twice. He Knocked out bulls-F-Brad Miller's teeth. Going for the ball? No. And what was the dela fighting with Heinrich,
I recall in the regualr season when Rondo and Big Baby davis were trying to stop Lebron from making a dunk. They couldnt;t Then they flagrant fouled him. They both literally just grabbed his wasit and pushed him. LeBron still made it in. THe Celtics are bullies, but try that crap on LeBron and it only makes him mad.

| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/12/2009 10:35:26 PM | Well tribefan, I'm no Celtics fan, but your talking about the NBA basketball, The Celtics are not bullies or thugs... just playing hard basketball. If they don't hard foul James, he will make the bucket and go to the line. This is basketball. especially now in the playoffs, they'll play a lot rougher.
And don't think that because the Cavs have won 8 straight by 10 or more that they are dominating.
At the end of the year, look at the power ranking... the three eastern conf teams Cavs, Celtics and Magic. but out west there were LA, Portland, Denver, Houston and the west had better records.
Utah and Houston is different than playing Detroit and the Sixers.
Not taking anything away from LeBron, and the Cavs...but the next series will be their first real test.
Oh yeah.... I almost forgort.... LA by 40... I know that makes someone out there happy... Better luck Thursday CB

I can't argue about that, what a great feeling. One more game and its off to Cleveland, which will be the toughest challenge for the Celtics. There could be a possiblilty we might see KG come back if they make it in this round.
GO CELTICS!!!!! | |
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/13/2009 5:36:26 PM | | Yes the Celtics play hard on defense. They are not bullies. Another close one last night...I hope they can close it out in six. Nice to see Marbury come through in the 4th as well. | |
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/14/2009 6:53:04 PM | OUCH Celtic fans! Game seven on the way. Anything can happen of course. if the celtics win will they have any gas left in the tank? Me thinks not! Good run. too many injuries to overcome? | |
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/15/2009 4:12:45 PM |
OUCH Celtic fans! Game seven on the way.
Here we go again....I guess the save thing about it is that the Celtics play at home for this one, so there's some advantage over it.
LETS GO CELTICS!!!! | |
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/16/2009 7:58:22 PM | | Blah, the Celtics will win the series to only take on Cleveland and lose. Lebron is PRAYING that he has to face Boston in the conference finals. Why? Orlando has beaten the hell out of the Cavs more than once in the regular season. | |
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/17/2009 5:39:00 AM | | If the Celtics do win tonight there could be a chance that KG might comeback to play. He's still a day to day to determine a comeback, but Doc is playing the game that he is out for the season. I would put him in if they go into the next round. | |
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/17/2009 6:26:51 AM | | the mavericks won 5 playoffs games this year you can say it was a successful year for them.the thing that urps me is some of the games were not televised.you had to have cable, the dish i use to have did not carry tnt!i could not find them on the radio either, sad.sign o times to come in few years probably get ready to see your favorite teams on pay per view. | |
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/17/2009 1:01:25 PM | | Cleveland is where it's at, this is our year. | |

cannot overlook how Cleveland lost to the laker's this season here at home. For that matter we will most likely see Boston again, not an easy time.
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/17/2009 9:01:12 PM |
For that matter we will most likely see Boston again,
I agree ...... both will be in the stands eating popcorn with TO watching the game.

The Magic may cut short the Cav's dreams of the finals? Cleveland was dismantled by the Magic at home. Can the supporting players behind King James play the the big men of the Magic?
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/19/2009 12:56:57 PM | both match ups should be good. I don't see anyone running away with this.
LA and Denver, I see LA coming out and playing hard tonight. Denver may even play sluggish, which I know they don't do often, but maybe too long of a lay off.
Magic will go into this game fired up as well, but it might be too much for them at Cleveland tonight.
Still, it's anyones game... all four teams are good. It's who ever wants it the most.
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/19/2009 1:42:30 PM | I hope the refs let the nuggets play. If they let kobe and ga-soft get every touch foul, then we dont have a shot.
Hopefully bynum is still a head case, and maybe anderson can make him more of a headcase..
as I said, should be a good series...hopefully they let them play...
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/19/2009 2:03:01 PM | Move game 4 to Tuesday night and let there be Monday night RAW. WWE is more entertaining. | |
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/19/2009 2:09:11 PM | well mgm, when its fake, you can make anything interesting...
I used to watch wrestling...when I was 8...then I grew out of it
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/19/2009 2:16:50 PM | WWE booked the arena back last August let them have it for the night. The Nuggets owner didn't think his team would still be playing in May.
I'm a Jeff Hardy fan and the Nuggets are going to lose anyway. Other than this year haven't they lost in the playoffs in the first round the last Five years.

I don't see you as the type of fan to complain Denver lost because of the officials. The calls go both ways wether you believe it or not. personally I think some of the fouls they call are stupid, but not just the ones against the Lakers, all across the league. especially when a shooter can lean into a defender to draw a foul. Just play basketball, it has gotten to point where players do things more to draw fouls, than just shot the ball, but it's the rules and how they call games. If Kobe does it, don't complain, everyone does, they all learn the tricks of the game.
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/19/2009 4:55:14 PM | Nuggets in Six. The Nuggets will have trouble stopping Kobe, but Denver is playing some serious ball right now if anyone has been paying attention.
I think the Cavs take the Magic in 4 or 5 games, and then the Cavs win the title in six or seven games over the Nuggets.
|
| NBA Playoffs Posted: 5/19/2009 9:15:56 PM | I actually thought I would see a different game tonight. Where Denver would come out sluggish because of their layoff, and LA run out of gas. Denver actually looked their best at the start of the game.
It was a good first game. Melo and Kobe sure gave each other a workout.
