Posted: 5/12/2009 11:44:19 PM | | Its one thing to see a pic and talk over the phone, it may be very different in person, seeing how someone walks, talks, holds themselves (posture, etc), facial expressions, the way they smell and dress, etc. Chances are that there was something they didnt like, or something they wanted that you didnt offer, could have been minor or major, some people are just weird so move on and dont worry about it. Go sit in a mall and watch people and how they act, chances are that there are a small number that you would actually want to get to know better. | |

Seriously, the internet dating world is full of flawed people (we all are) perpetuating themselves as near perfection. If people were just honest with themselves and how they present themselves to others then I think the odds of success stories happening would increase.
Every date is a risk as we're all looking for one simple reason to pull the ejection lever and blast off. The problem is people have hair-trigger fingers and short attention spans.
Don't give up. Just be thankful you didn't waste so much of your time with the WRONG guy. Better to get them out of the way now than invest yourself for months, years into the wrong man for you. | |
