You will find some of the friendliest, open people at the Gorge. If you can make it, by all means, go. Everyone will welcome you and Hobie will always be around to help anyone find a good place to set up a tent and get situated. And be prepared to do a LOT of laughing when you camp at the Gorge with the fishies!

| Gorgefest- Camping - Red River Gorge Ky- Oct-2-3-4 Posted: 9/19/2009 7:43:45 PM | Awww...blush, blush.... organized - or just have a lot of junk to haul around to campouts? I'm not really missing the band mom days, anymore! But I do miss camping with the fishies.
I might have to build a campfire in the middle of the living room next winter, though. The farm cottage we are moving to has no heat - not even a fireplace! How many times have I heard, "It's not that cold here in the winter." Yeah, right!

| Gorgefest- Camping - Red River Gorge Ky- Oct-2-3-4 Posted: 9/21/2009 1:33:27 AM | Long johns - and an electric blanket! I hate it when you can see your breath - in the house! (Most houses in the north don't have any central heating.)
I will be thinking of everyone at the Gorge. What a beautiful spot it is!
