Everyone will welcome you and Hobie will always be around to help anyone find a good place to set up a tent and get situated. And be prepared to do a LOT of laughing when you camp at the Gorge with the fishies! | |

Posted: 9/19/2009 7:43:45 PM | Awww...blush, blush.... organized - or just have a lot of junk to haul around to campouts? I'm not really missing the band mom days, anymore! But I do miss camping with the fishies.
I might have to build a campfire in the middle of the living room next winter, though. The farm cottage we are moving to has no heat - not even a fireplace! How many times have I heard, "It's not that cold here in the winter."  Yeah, right! | |

Take left of exit. 300 yards to route 15 ( light ) take a right.follow about 5 miles to route 613 on left. go under M>P take a right at t. follow 613 for about 8 to 10 miles. indian creek is on the left. i suggest you go to google maps .put in stanton ky. follow the route i have suggested so you can see the distance. | |

Posted: 9/23/2009 9:13:27 AM | | wayfarer, glad your coming. this spot is very easy to find. here is a few route numbers that will help you find on map. when you get off at the slade exit (left )100 yards to rt15 (left) 2 miles rt 77 ( right ) nadda tunnel road. 5to 7 miles.after crossing bridge rt 613 (left ) 2 miles 1st gravel road on right. | |
