A reversal of my previous post.
I'm making vacant the bunk in OP's RV, for I do snore (or so I've been told). 
Our generous host is quite adamant that her RV guests do not snore. My offers to bring sleeping aids and ear muffs were futile. 
As its preferable to getting kicked out in the middle of the night, I am going to bring a tent.
I'm hoping to share a site with other tenters too.
Cinch, the card game
Are there any Cinch players, or anyone besides OP that want to learn the card game? The game is popular mid-island so I'd not be surprised if some of you know the game already.
I can bring a few of Cinch score boards, decks of cards and one folding card table.
If interested, you have a card table and room for it, please do bring it. | |

I have a 20'x30' tarp "just in case",... well,... of you know....( I won't say it)
ALSO:
Let's do the SATURDAY NIGHT POTLUCK/SMORGASBORD .... it works for me!
so BYOM (meat) and another side dish... last time of over 40 people there were NO double dishes,.. isn't that amazing?

Probably bringing my kids ages 12 and 13 and my dog. We travel as a pack...lol and please dont' mistake us for the Beverly Hillbillies 
Did someone mention cards??? I also play crib and poker if anyone is interested..will bring some extra cards.

Would have been a good opportunity to learn how to play Cinch, but I'm committed to a gig that weekend then heading to Kelowna for a training symposium. Hoping to hook up with a couple of Poffers there who have graciously offered to keep me entertained.

Kids would love to bring mine out to it but then who would look after the 4-legged babies... I am so looking forward to getting out and having fun, I will bring my chair but will need help out of it...lol hey I only have one arm to work with and one leg... Looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great time... Hey Jen think we could have a ummm small scavenger hunt?.... just to ummm sweeten the redneck pot... I have a few ideas... let me know... I also still have my xmas tree and it fits in my car.... should I bring it... only 22 sleeps to go... but who is counting.  and isn't there a mini putt just across from the camping or nearby?... | |

Posted: 5/2/2009 9:59:58 AM | To those planning on just dropping in for a visit, I dropped in for a visit to the last "POF 'Redneck' Nanaimo Camp " in April, and I had a great time, met a lot of good folks, and felt really welcome. I will be partying the whole weekend this time. I'm looking forward to a good time again. Don't hesitate to come and say "Hi ", I'm glad I did.
I dragged out my tent from the garage , and discovered a rat had chewed the fly. Now my fly won't stay up...
So I hope you will all do the "socially correct " thing if you notice my fly down... Don't look!

Posted: 5/2/2009 2:30:16 PM | NO list for potluck items Silky,... we tried that last time and it was too hard to get folks to keep track so just bring your own meat and then a side dish or dessert to share...... like I said before, we had over 50 people for dinner and there wasn't a single double up,..... was awesome!!!
This is going to be a good one. Seems the rednecks are hankering for more fun and have already sent me several messages about... um... "items" that they plan on bringing........ channel your inner redneckisity (?) everyone HAHAHA.
Please remember to keep power cords AWAY from the water though !!!!
I am plotting with LFO this evening for the scavenger hunt,. will all be things that can all be achieved by walking ( climbing or crawling!! LOL) .... NO driving necessary for those who might be imbibing from the moment they arrive.
