Posted: 5/4/2009 9:01:58 PM | concerning the most melodious sleeper award: move on over fellow competitors! 10 years before intergenerational dating became known by hockey players in 1999, my daughter reassured her friend when we were wilderness camping, that there was in fact no wildcat outside their tent, but it was only the sweet sound of her Mum sleeping.  and yes, I have my own tent again, for which I shall find a nice quiet spot to pitch it. ~ my son is 9... and yes he gets along with girls too! I suggest bringing bicycles for the kids.
~Junglegal,......I asked when I booked and the owner assured me the hot tub and pool would be up and running. ( It was a deal maker for me too HAHA) Don't forget your swimming suits everyone.
~ for those asking ME to keep you an RV spot....... in the group camping area THERE are 7 sites booked as posted on page one. EACH SITE can hold 2-3 RV's ( assuming your "house on wheels" isn't a 40' greyhound bus!) This gives us room for about 21 RV's !!
As I said before I DID warn the owners that we had 50 plus campers last time and they said it'd be no problem to accomodate us....... ok we'll probably be cozy but that's ok!
~ EVERYONE...you can say you are with Plenty of Fish OR POF...when you arrive at the campsite, BOOK into the main office,... YOU pay them then. We have a large area to camp in so really one can park anywhere THIS is why I said BRING extension cords!!!
~Those with tents can go anywhere inbetween.
Galiel...I will probably be there on Thursday actually (I have the previous week off) BUT if not I'll be there shortly after noon on Friday.

I took a cruz through the camp site and its PERFICT for us ..... theres a little pond were camping by , and its too cute , as well as the pool and hot tub (now that could be fun  )

So... I could say I was too exicted to further post about this trip...I could say I moved and only got internet today... Ummmm but really I just couldnt wait for this trip and decided to go camping here instead.... I just didnt bring my stereo or keyboard with me so you didnt hear me or see me typing! I mean really who wouldnt want a 3 day holiday courtesy of POF...especially when your considered to happy... so what if I"m a visual person and like to show you all how I feel with the icons provided by pof.  
Had another idea that takes the whole Red Neck Theme to the next level... Those that were on the last trip know about the Christmas Lights, Duct Taped Christams Trees, Disco Balls & Blow Job Machines... I think it would be cool if we had a contest to see who has the "Most Red Neck Camp Site" . As we will all be sharing sites this trip.... it could get really crazy... We could have a judging/vote before the Pot Luck on Saturday...this would give plenty of time for campers to transform their sites. What does everyone think??
How many days till the real camping trip with my friends? Great to see some others signed up from the mainland.... Looks like we have a couple repeat offenders from the first camping trip in Powell River as well...and then there are the others that just couldnt resist living vicariously through us REEL Red necks.

Looks like we have a couple repeat offenders from the first camping trip in Powell River as well.
So far it looks like I'm the only one from the Pearl City of Powell River signed up for this event... and yes, I'm looking forward to all the fun and hospitality.
Other than OP, is no one else is interested in Cinch?

the rednecks i know , all own a BIG truck, BIG dog and a BIG gun ..... and have a few applyances in there yard ...... im sure we could manage with a truck and dog, but i dont know about the guns and old fridges  
im going with a Hawiian Redneck theam ...... coconuts , grass skirt, rubber boots, and a bandana | |

Seriously, did you see OP's kind offer on page 1, of space in her RV (to non-snorers only) and space in her big tent?
Hard to believe the fun starts 2-weeks tomorrow. Time sure flies.

workin at a beer store 40 hrs a week, benifits after 3 months, 
now i think me workin at a beer store is purdy redneck , if i do say so
