LOL ~ it's not age-selective. Some of the most horrifically "tongue down the throaters" I've ever kissed were either my age or a tad older. I think it's gross no matter what the age. 
~OP~ I'm a little surprised that you associated tongue with getting naked. I associate getting naked (or "doing it") with things tied to a long term relationship ~ not the fine art of kissing. The fine art of kissing can certainly sway the "to be or not to be" scale with me, but that comes after exclusivity and a whole slew of other determinations. Posted: 4/27/2009 1:24:49 PM | Sure you can enjoy long, slow wet kisses. Maybe without the "sloppy" part. Our bodies realse hormones when we kiss. It is what starts the dance. In fact I am totally in tune with my body and just let go. Kissing and foreplay are such a part of the actual sex act. Just kissing does not mean you will "do it". Hopefully we are adults now and can just say no or stop. Kissing is part of finding out if we are compataible. As adults we "should" have self control or the ability to play a little an still have fun. We are still sexual beings no matter how old we get. I hope that feeling never goes away. If we start making rules I cannot french kiss I am too old... well I hope I don't ever get that old. Nothing better in my book that a great kisses before, during and maybe a little less after but please kiss me with passion. Love it. There is an art to kissing. Know or learn you partner and hopeful they learn your body language. If you are truly into your partner you will not need a road map the passion will guide you. Focus on only yourself and that partner may not like the long slow, wet kisses. Do it right and you both will love. That is my take and I will stick with that. Love kissing.
Now, put me with a guy I don't like or really not my type... that kissing would be such a huge turn off. Let your body be your guide and pay attention then let go. There is a difference between porn and erotic, a difference between like the partner and don't. I personally love sensual, erotic, long slow wet kisses. And maybe unless you get a guy or gal that hates oral...kisses is great.

The thing is, some of the people who perform that kind think they kiss great but if you have to stop in the midst of a makeout session to wipe your face with a towel, it's too slobbery!
But back to the OP--I hope no one ever outgrows French kissing. I want to be 80 and sitting in my mechanized recliner making out with my honey before we pop out and into our wheelchairs for some love on the adjustable beds.

I am going to reply because I think you are genuinely perplexed that some people can really enjoy that kind of kissing and frankly, while I am surprised, I am not judging you for it.
You are correct I'm totally perplexed. A tongue can be used lightly used in a kiss and it can be very pleasureable. If its someone you know fairly well. Its the slobbery , slimey tryihng to stick his tongu all the way down your throat taht has me wondering.
If what your saying to me is correct the guys who I've just met that try to stick thier tongues down my throat (Keep in mind I am differentiating between tongue being used in a kiss and and tongue being an invasion.) are trying to tell me they are attracted to me and this is par for the course? When my ex kissed me I could feel it all thought my body, my knees would actually get weak. His kisses were never slobbery, sloppy or wet. He would start with slightly parted lips, light, gentle. Then his kisses would get longer and a little stronger, his tongue just lightly, barely touching my lips. Etc. Oh yes I've had kisses that made me drag a man off to bed.
30 years with my ex but he was not my first and he was a long long way from my first kiss. I've had deep tongue kisses and they just seem sophmoric and crude. Where is the pleasure. And I'm not asking that as a rhetorical question because it appears thats how the men our age kiss. | |
