Personally, a nice hug or peck on the lips is apporiate for public but making out is more for private times. | |

Posted: 5/4/2009 6:43:59 PM | there are different stages to a physical relationship, which is a part of a larger thing going on (at least, for me). there is a gentle sweetness, there is the "building up" as part of romance and there is pure, unadulterated passion. then again, there is also "finesse" and "expertise".
so, i doubt anyone brings a towel on the first date, unless really, really desperate or out of commission for awhile!  | |

Golden retrievers are over-rated in the slobbery kissing department.
For really good slobbery kisses, go for a St. Bernard.
Although Golden Retrievers are much better at playing Frisbee.

Wet & sloppy has no place in true, passionate kissing. I sure hope so! At my age (50's) if I am frisky enough to be "french kissing" with a lady, we probably know each other very well and that we are not far from the natural progression from kissing like this.
Not going to be hopping into bed with everyone but as well not going to be deep kissing with everyone either. Its one of my favourite things to do when "getting frisky" and hope that it never ends! A woman who does not enjoy kissing is never going to make it to my heart... | |

It is truly all in the way he kisses you. I have had some french kisses that were disturbing, to say the least, some men equate that type of kiss with a right to violate your mouth! Eww.
You know the kind, deep, probing, and invasive kinda kiss.
Then there are those who employ a gentle tongue action that leaves you wanting for more.\
As far as it being a prelude for sex, hmmm, not always. Some of the best kisses I have had led to nothing more than a good make-out session.
Bottom line, OP, french kissing, when done correctly, is a delight.
