Scarlett's kid dies?!? Great!!!! Thanks a lot!!!!! After waiting five decades to finally watch it, I get ten minutes in and somebody spoils it for me!!!!! AAAAaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!!!!

For me, it's Love Story. My body is literally jerking with tears of laughter!!!! Especially when Ryan O'Neill, still in early days with Ali McGraw is assessed a penalty during a hockey game which she has come to watch. From in the stands, she approaches the box, leans over and asks why he was in the box. His answer (with appropriate sob): For (sob - that's where the sob goes and it was perfect) caring too much.

I'm welling up just writing about it.

I can't believe I've read this whole list and nobody has mentioned the ultimate guy tear jerker - Bang the Drum Slowly. Robert deNiro/Michael Moriarty movie from the 70's.

And the greatest tear jerking scene of all time is in Dumbo. If you don't know the scene, you've never seen the movie.

Definately "Ghost" and "Steel Magnolias". I love tear jerker movies when at home alone.so my mascara can run down my face, lol
But at a movie theatre with a date...a comedy, action/adventure. or maybe a romance

Halftime....

"Baby mine, don't you cry.
Baby mine, dry your eyes.
Rest your head close to my heart,
Never to part, baby of mine."

Right, you are!!
