Its pretty obvious to some a out of staters can't read nor express himself in a gentleman manner-I for one am not impressed!
The post says- SMOKING ON THE BACK DECK ONLY-
and for the implied vulgar language no-one in this group is impressed-I believe I speak for the majority

Hey Jasper,
I noticed on your profile that you are an occasional smoker. (What does occasional smoking mean for you?) So why would smoking on the deck only bother you? As a non smoker I very much appreciate being able to go some where and not have to contend with second hand smoke. I would not be that eager to come if smoking was allowed near the food or the dancing. There are people with allergies that would not come at all if there was smoke inside at the dance. Second hand cigarette smoke makes some people sick.

I was just following orders to ferret out the intolerent, closed minded, and ones who falls for any comment as serious. Chill out and go double your dose.
I'm guilty for being gullible. Sometimes it's hard to know someone is kidding in the written word. No body language or tone of voice to guide someone for meaning of words. It's true I'm very intolerant of being around smoking. I'm not rude about my intolerance. | |

The post states a recommended age. Hey, I applaud anyone that wants to come out and boogie. If I went somewhere expecting the age to be 21 and over, yet I get there and almost everyone is 21- 30 or 80 plus, I would be disappointed. I used to go to a dance that was advertised 35 and up. Well the reality of it was there were about 10 people aged 45 - 55 and the rest of the people were 60ish and older. I didn't think the dance was accurately described.

A " "prefence in age group" is still an act of inclusiveness and atagonizes other ages. I can see how some are tense. The 60 plus age group is now younger than years past. We are dancers from the 50's and and 50 years later, many are in good shape. I still say if you are over 60, come and let's enjoy the social aspects of all age groups. The inclusions can group up and live in their own world. I knew rock and roll when it was in fashion. R& B hopefully will be there, and country rock at it's finest. Can't seem to find a dance step to some of the stuff we're hearing today. | |

My thoughts about age?
Age is just a number.
Age is a state of mind over matter.. As long as you don't mind, it doesn't matter.
I have been gone out with men up to 30 years older and 16 years younger. And, what's my point here????? NOTHING! hehe
Wow! Just a week away. Let's get the party started! I KNOW I am ready!!!

I go to a lot of dances in NC & SC but this will be my first in GA and I am really looking forward to it. I appreciate you telling the men to dance if a woman ask them. Its' only about 2 min. and you never know who you are dancing with or talking to, it could be a future boss or owner of a place you would really like to attend. The same goes for women as well. Looking forward to meeting everyone. | |

It's been fun the past 2 months. The DJ last months was good and even taught some new dancing. Meet great people. I want be there this month though. Have Fun. | |
