| Why do older women attract more younger men then men their own age?

Older women have WAY more confidence than a younger woman would for a few simple reasons....life experience, maturity emotionally, more sexual experience, more confidence in general and making good money at work, have their career pretty much set, are pretty much happy with the path their life has taken, etc.
Older women are NOT 'easy' because they are insecure...we just know what we want and we don't put up with all the stupid childish games that are out there (at least this all applies to me, I can't speak for anyone else out there!)...we are secure enough with ourselves to go out and get what we want and not worry what anyone else thinks of us.
IMO, a younger man should consider himself LUCKY to get with an older woman! | |

Posted: 6/20/2005 4:31:31 PM | To reynado I get hit on all the time by 20 somethings. One weekend, a 19 y/o!! My youngest just turned 18, my oldest is 15. I can see that date, I'd almost be cutting up his food for him....haha, joking.
Fitchik I couldn't agree more with your last statement, luck son of a gun that would be!! I'll talk to these young pups for a short while when I zero in on their interest, sex is always in there somewhere. I'm not interested in teaching or tutoring I want a man to make love to me who KNOWS what he's doing! | |

A view of women over forty?????. A woman over forty will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask you what you are thinking. She does`nt give a d*mn what you think.
If an over forty woman does`nt watch the game , she does`nt whine about it , she does her own thing which is more interesting.She knows herself well enough to be assured in who she is , what she is , what she want`s and from whom.
She does`nt care what you think about her or what she`s doing.
She usually has had her fill of "meaningful relationships" and "commitments" The last thing she needs in her life is another dopey , clingy, whiney, dependent lover in her life.
She is mature , dignified and will not have a screaming match in a restaurant or at the opera. Of course , if you deserve it , they wont hesitate to shoot you if they can get away with it.
They are generous with praise , often undeserved . They know what its like to be unappreciated.
She does`nt hesitate to introduce another girl friend to her latest man friend.
A woman over forty could care less if you are attracted to her friends because she knows her friends wont betray her . Women get psychic as they age.
You dont have to confess your sins to her . She already knows .
You know where you stand with her , She`ll tell you if you`re a jerk or if you`re behaving like one.
Yes , we praise them for various reasons. Unfortunately , its not reciprical. For every smart , attractive woman over forty + , there`s a paunchy , balding relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22 year old waitress. | |

well it only lasted 10 months........she was regal carried herself well...and yes different from the girls in my age group..she didnt play the chidish games they were playing.she taught me more about myself in 10 months than I would have learned in 10 yrs. | |

Which I LOVE...older men "tend" to be somewhat more judgemental...and I find...they also..tend to fib more about their wt..ht..or whatever else they have to get to attention..LOLOlL....Now before anyone kills me..LOL......this is NOT always the case....LOL....I am interested in an amazing 30 yr old at the moment...so cant wait to see where it goes..! LOL.....Age is just a number....before last year...had never dated a man younger than 2 or 3 yrs younger than me...just wouldnt allow myself..felt I would be taking advantage. of him...but.....when a "younger "...guy rather coerced me into a kiss in a hot tub saying......if you dont feel anything....then...I will leave you alone..LOL.....I laughed...and so.....fine....he kissed me....and whew.....took my breath away......I had to consider younger guys ever since..LOLOL....which the BIG shocker was that.......he was YOUNGER than what he had told me...!!! LMAO.....so maybe I was being somewhat judgemental..something I cant stand.....so we all learn if we allow ourselves too.....

I must disagree with you on your thoughts... I am 36 years old, and have had some men that are very young seeking me out. I have YET to give in to them. I find myself confused on the matter personally, because I feel kind of uncomfortable seeking out a relationship with a man that is only 4 -5 years older than my oldest daughter. These men think I am being cold to them, but I honestly feel weird going out with such younger men. So, no... I must disagree with you about saying that it is EASY SEX, and that women our age are very insecure and feel less threatened by a younger man. For like I said, I have a VERY hard time with opening up to them, no matter how nice the come off as being. Plus the fact that I cannot help but think about the many differences we would have intellectually.
Call me strange, but I just cannot get myself to even attempt it.

If you're a young pup talking to an older woman, sexy isn't one of the "magic" words, at least not for me. I'll assume that you're looking at me as sexual, that must be what you want. Forget that, ain't gonna happen. You want to catch an older woman's eye, tell her she's sophisticated, tell her she's classy, tell her she carries herself well, anything but she's sexy. Older women do have a lot to offer, but what do you have to offer to her? Attention? I get plenty of that anyway. Energy? Not a problem for me either. You gotta find something to offer her that a man her own age doesn't. That's a difficult thing, and the older the wiser, so it better be something solid. | |
