This I was just reminded of because I tried to message a woman to ask her where she found a tattoo, because I think it is awesome and would like to get one like it someday. The funny part is she is not 'searching', has found someone, and I had no intention of asking her for more than the name, address and/or phone number of her tattoo artist :)

People who can't spell gooder :) For instance, they will right “alot” instead “a lot”. Women (from my observation) who will wait constantly for him to make the move to go out or, talk on the phone or, anything since she can't make it herself but she can whine and b*tch about it.

Personally it's punctuation and 'prefer not to say'.

Another one for me is girls who have at least one photo of them giving the camera the finger......srsly? Are you that much of a douchebaguette?

douchebaguette
I LOVE that word! Did you make that up? Permission to use it myself on occasion??
I just a profile from a guy with a separated status looking for a sexy curvy woman and a whole lot of other demands.
Um, scuse me...that's a hell of a lot to be asking, considering that, in essence, you are MARRIED...

| What is your #1 Pet Peeve in Profiles Posted: 4/6/2010 5:34:04 PM | | Oops...no offence about the separated comment I hope, Armster 2010?? This guy bugged me because he was over the top with what he was looking for. | |

I've always thought they should rename this site to PlentyOfWindowShopping. Seems thats all a lot of people do.

Do these people get off on teasing or are they just completely oblivious to what they are doing?

| What is your #1 Pet Peeve in Profiles Posted: 5/2/2010 4:33:57 PM | | Men who say they are a "single parent" even though they are separated or divorced. (Anytime I mention this to female friends, they do an eye roll.) I'm sick to death of reading "looking for a good hearted woman"...seems to be on every woman's profile. I'm sick to death of seeing "a woman who looks good in jeans or a little black dress". I saw a profile that contained a long list of adjectives for his preferred woman and that was after a long paragraph describing his ideal woman. One guy who was separated actually had "I have been told I make a good husband". And I hate "I have been told that..." or "my friends say that I'm..." | |

The ultimate peeve for me is, women that assume the next guy is just like the last guy.
No, that's incorrect...please don't tar and feather ALL women. But I have noticed that the men on here can be neatly fit into 5 or 6 different categories. And if I might offer a suggestion, your profile photo is horrible. Remember, these tiny photos are not easy to see and you should use the best photo possible. (That's a pet peeve...bad photos...blurry, undated).
What I'd like to know is why answer "Prefer Not To Say" or "Undecided/Open" about wanting children? Either you do or you don't. I take it to mean "Yes I do so you should be of childbearing age" and I move along.
And finally: an observation: Men seem to be looking for one particular look eg. Man A wants a thin blue eyed blonde; Man B wants an athletic brunette with green eyes...they'll search and search and search and search and pass up every other woman who shows an interest in them because she isn't his "type" whereas I could go with 6 or 7 different looks: eg. bald, blonde, dark-haired, moustache, glasses, athletic, few extra pounds...who cares as long as he strikes me as being NICE.
Any men care to dispute this observation??

| What is your #1 Pet Peeve in Profiles Posted: 5/3/2010 7:13:37 PM | Pet Peeves Ok here we go; Women who say that that are looking for good guys , yet when good guys message them , no response. But that stuff has been going on since the dawn of time. Hell we all are picky, in a way, but when you get older and passed on so many good chances hoping for perfection then eithor get eventually burned or grow old and bitter , while being alone and blaming society. On a brighter note here's more; Women who put pics up of them 10 years ago with nothing updated. Women who say that they are looking for stability in a man, yet are unstable themselves. Women , who feel that they are entitled to perfection, yet are far from it themselves. Women that say they have interests in certain things they have no clue about.
Hell I'd say more but I wouldn't want to come off as bitter for i actually enjoy being single.
