let me just add what i have in my profile ;)

1.OMG everyone window shops ..but nobody buys
2.Is a wink like really winking at someone, or do they all think you have something in your eye?
3.When you take the time to send someone and email message…do they think its junkmail or spam and delete it?
4.Okay how many people really know how to really operate all the functionality on this site…. Is there any button to do the dishes?
5. You get what you put into something...if you dont keep communication going...nothing is going to happen...well you will make the dating sites richer though ;)
6. Why do people say.... i found someone..so my search is ended..but they are still online?
7. Formula for getting a score of 10 for you profile... Well say your 19 and show lots of skin... you will get a 10 regardless if you need plastic surgery or not ;)
8. Photographs: should photographs be a representation of who a person is now..and now when they graduated high school? (And if you just graduated..now im worried) My word....do people really think that by putting a pic up where they were thinner or less gray that you will trick someone to see you in real life and they will love you for it?
9. Lack of photographs: I hear you dont want to let your clients know your here (or your probation officer or soon to be estranged psycho spouse)...sheesh if Donald Trump and the hilton sisters can do it..why cant you? ;)
10. I keep hearing people are looking for a spark on the first meeting...my question is..to make a spark while making a fire..dont you have to rub things together to get it going? *grin*

tallndarkone4u: Depends if ya meet in person or have a pic of them there may be a physical attraction or spark first, if not then one may be attracted by other things. Then again a physical attraction/spark could develop after getting to know someone better too.

OMG -- This is way way too funny....

For sure the most annoying has got to be
"prefer not to say" and when that is on marital status

Also when you talk with someone and they state - Friends - and when you talk
with them, and find out their idea of friends seems to be very similar to idea of what dating is
like ??? hmm go figure...

Also when you try and meet people - and the day of the meeting
Back out for no reason whatsoever ??? did they really plan on showing or what...

Pictures --- Why yes as a matter of fact I do look exactly like my photo...
I leave my " vote for pedro" shirt at home for those special dates.....

i agree with all of the peeves so far but i have a new interesting one. i hate when they say "boys living at home with mommy still need not apply". wellllllllll i had to move back home because i got addicted to cocaine and booze and other drugs and just before i went into the gutter i decided to ask for help. that help came from my mother. it takes a mega amount of personal strength to 1. admit you have a problem, and 2. ask people for help for that. alot of people have too much pride to ask for help or fear the consequences of what someone may think for thier actions. so yes im living at home again and im proud of it cause if i wasnt living here i would be living in a carboard box freakin for my next fix. and no i dont have a job right now. i have to start my whole life over again. i feel stupid enough as it is for getting myself in this mess. i dont need to hear some superficial b***h tell me im a boy. when they go through something as bad as drug addiction and come out of it they will see that they are the children for being so in tune with thier most basic desire, greed. i know who i really am now and what i really want and i feel that having the strength to actually change it is more important than my address. foolish girls. anyway thats my rant for the day

Zauvir,

First off, congratulations on your desire to rehabilitate yourself. I've not experienced the difficulties of such a difficult task, but I know many who have gone through hell and relapsed often before they could achieve a long period of abstanance. Good luck. Hope all works well for you.

On topic:

There is very little left to the imagination when others judge a person according to their status and position. When a person states that they don't want a mommy's boy living at home, I would thank them for making you feel inferior. That usually gets an apology and makes them think before they criticise someone again.

Other than that, let them stew in their world of superiority... it's a lonely place.

zauvir: Well thanks for the honesty, and reality check. I'm glad ya never made it to that box, but when ya think about it that's where a few of those mentioned actually do their thinking. I commend ya for your strength and wish ya all the best on your new path in life. It might be a bumpy road but I'm sure the roads will be paved in spots along the way. It's easier to fall but it's awesome when ya have a hand to get back up, cheers to those strong enough to withstand the pressure.

My #1 pet peeve is when you place a profile and you specify no married men or couples. I am not really interested in these 2 things.

I get a message and they are either one or both. I don't want to break up a marriage, regardless of the state of it. Then when you tell them that you are not interested they continue to send you messages.

I comepletely agree with u about the "car thing" and the good "job thing" and for sure the "sexy thing" But the "height thing" is it really that bad? I personally don't feel comfortable witha guy that is under 5'9. I am a liitle big and alot of guys aren't comfortable with that. I can accept that though.

hmmmm...i am reading this thread and i realize that i have some restrictions on my profile..only cause i dont want to chat with someone who is into intimate encounters..and i am not looking to chat with men who are 55 years old if i am looking for a relationship...friend yes...relationship no....i dont know...the thing that bugs me most is when people say they are down to earth,....and then when you message them...they "read delete" ur message...:)
its all good though...:) just means that they like different things..:)
