| Why is there so little dating between white men and black women?
Posted: 7/14/2009 5:51:10 AM | Move up to Vancouver, BC, its different up here. Not that there isn't racism but what a difference compared to the US east coast.
I met a black woman in Philly that I though was quite nice and we had a great night out (My ship was only there two days so not much chance for anything other than a few drinks). She kept getting nervous about the people around us seeing a white guy and black girl. It was just so foreign to me to have that kind of racial tension going on.
Up here you see every combination of race and colour and its just "normal". | |

Posted: 7/14/2009 12:01:06 PM | well ill put my 2 cents in for one most black women seem to want a black guy, or they value his penis size only, this is not saying that white men men have small penis but black women seem to be stuck on the idea that all white guys r small, but i feel the truth of the matter really is that black women r close minded and prejudiced to the idea of dating white men and i think alot of it is becuz black men and their community as a whole says to them do not date white men i live in dallas tx and i can say from observation there is very little why men blk wmn dating here i will say to those white men who like black women go for women from africa or some foreign country rather than american black women, african women are far superior mentally, emotionally and spiritually than american black women trust me i would definitely marry an african woman never a blk american woman they are like shit beneath my feet Well Chad...I doubt anyone is losing any sleep over you not wanting to marry a blk american woman...and I bet you're nothing but a pile of shit yourself who must marry a woman from another country because the only way she would want you is because she needs a green card. | |

She has the proverbial Black race features - thick lips, short, nappy hair, wide nose- and her skin is black as ebony. She is also beautiful, classy, speaks English with a lovely accent and is one of the bravest women I know.
She's Ethiopian, and lost all her family in the civil war. She walked her way to Morocco, crossed the Mediterranean in a dinghy and forged herself a new life in Spain. Her husband is white and they have 3 children (after the 2 ones she lost in her country). She is also very active in helping African refugees.
Every time she hears about how hard African-American women have it, she simply smiles and moves her head. | |

Northern Michigan is still very segregated, most of the racists just move north when Detroit / the suburbs became multi-cultural.
As far as being a guy here in Michigan, I don't see many black chicks check out white guys. I see alot of black guys hook up with white girls, however. I find black girls attractive, but rarely try to hit on them because they rarely show any interest. I likely have more in common with black women than white women to be honest.
I guess my answer to you would be that us white guys have the sterotype in our head that black girls are not interested in us at all, therefor we do not try. | |

In fact there is only one black woman that I see on a regular basis, and while I would love to date her, she isn't interested in me. So if we don't run into many black women and the ones we do meet aren't interested, the odds are we aren't going to be dating any. Yea there are some guys that are racist, but I think most guys don't have any problems with what race a woman is. | |

Please don't flatter yourself! There might be a few black women who are interested in dating white men and are posting questions like this, however, the majority are not interested at all. So for the most part it is mutual.
Uhhh, who made you spokes person for the black single female population? I sure as hell did not vote you in.
Many (like myself) love white men and all other men for that matter. I figure it's chocolate. I like white, milk dark and kosher chocolate and any other variations that may come to my attention. | |

I am a black female who has been attracted to white men since I was able to date. I asked several white men why is it hard for a black woman to date a white male? Their reply was... black women are known to be too aggressive(strong/not needy)!!!WOW!!! | |

Let's just say I've only experienced chemistry once with a black female; it was one of the best relationships I've ever had.

I think that dark skinned women are so sexy and are absolutley gorgeous. I date any race, but there I do have a definate taste for chocolate. | |

I love the strength of a black woman and for most that I have dated they have a very graceful way about them selves also. | |

Then you have to try and get past all the people who still harbor that absurd "racial" garbage, or assume that you would as well. I really don't care. | |

You will know that prejudice is dead once no one believes in the "One Drop Rule".

I'm in one of the smallest minorities in the freakin world - 3-4% world-wide.
I'm often selected against. Guess I could claim some kind of "-ism." But I doubt it would make me anymore attractive, most likely- less so, going around toting victim baggage.
