Posted: 6/11/2009 5:57:36 AM | | To get to the barbeque just head north until you get to the police barricade...park your car...tell them you are family so they let you through...run over to the next block and turn left at the fire trucks and move slowly up to the fire....if you can get past the big crowd of us surrounding the fire....you will find deisel whooping it up doing his mating dance.... the emt's haven't figured out yet if he needs help or should join him so they are just taking notes and waiting....deisel is looking to the crowd and speaking in a foreign tongue..... I won't be coming out Friday as I am at the walk till 7:00am tomorrow. Home to bed for me, then off to the BBQ. I have dropped the corn at ddDiesels today so if I am not there when you are ready to eat, don't wait for me as I may still be sleeping. I shouldn't be though but you never know what happens. Posted: 6/14/2009 8:47:44 AM | Just wanted to say a big "THANK YOU" to diesil for hosting the barbeque last night and opening his home to a bunch of fish! The food was fabulous(the ribs were to die for), the laughter was generous, and the music and firepit were endless!
For those who missed out...it was a fun filled all-nighter! When I left at 8 this morning, it was still going, and going, and going..... Watch out Energiser Bunny!!
The next event planned so far is at the Ventura Hotel in Coaldale on August 29th to watch the Bamboo Guppies!! Be there or be.....at home by yourself. The band is awesome and definately worth a listen if you can make it out! | |
