Posted: 6/14/2009 10:36:55 AM | Morning BB. Was great meeting you and all the others that took the time to smell the roses last night. My sides are still jiggling from all the laughter (guess that's as good of an excuse for having jiggly sides as any other :) ). Had a blast!
Huge Thanks to dddiesel for the fantastic ribs. Man, you can cook for me any time. You do realize that you may have opened a real can of worms, by opening your home to all us fishies! Hope we didn't leave you with too much cleanup. BTW, thanks to your neighbors too for giving us their blessings to party hardy. | |

I enjoyed meeting those I did get a chance to meet and maybe I will see you all again if the stars align and I keep fingers crossed ...and all that!
If I am out in this area again, I will say hello!

It looks like I am headed north after all but I am still coming to the barbeque.

At the end of July, I will be headed to Slave Lake for at least a year or two! Don't worry, I will still be down in this area to visit as I have family here and I will keep up with the activities so I can let you all know when I am in the area!!!

BIG THANK YOU to bbacon, penster, and dddiesel for all their hard work organizing and putting the campout together!
A great time was had by all! Great weather, lots of laughter, new friendships made, old friendships renewed, and great food (thanks to dddiesel for feeding me awesome ribs, AGAIN!!!) I had a great time dancing fishing, and just hanging out with everyone!!
I wish everyone the best and maybe I will see you around the fishing hole one day!

Was an awesome day today too! Brunch was VERY good in Taber (maybe I was just hungover and STARVED!!) Fishing was so much fun (Thank you Ken! :wink:) I only got a nibble but those weeds were putting up a fight! | |

Just wanted to pass on the news for those who don't know yet. I move on August 5th to Slave Lake for work so there is a "Going Away" party  on Saturday, August 1st here in Lethbridge at 7pm.  If your interested in attending, drop me a line and I'll give you the details.

We did get together at Pop's Pub in the South. Only a handful of us went but we had a blast!! Then dddiesel hosted a bbq at his house. There were about 20+ people who attended that and we had a blast again. Then the Southern AB campout happened. I didn't attend it but heard it was a great time. Looks like there is another campout planned for early Sept. in Fort MacLeod. Check the events listings for more info. Let me know if you want to try to arrange an outing at a local pub.

missed the pop pub thing must have been before I found the Forum section. I think we should try something like this again. Maybe we need to post it so it shows like the campouts show on inbox screen. Unless you think there is not enough interest in something like that. Personally I would prefer a pub get together rather than camping as people could just drop by. Not sure how to do this, I could not even get a new forum started for some reason could not get this to work. Is there is a way we could find out if there is any interest in a come and go as you please type get together? | |
