| Best question ever asked. Posted: 5/7/2009 9:03:26 AM | This is surely one of the silliest threads I've ever read.
Sonny Jim - the reason so many can't see the humour is because you've disguised it so well behind the vitriol and egomania. I still haven't made up my mind if you're just a complete plonker or you're simply baiting everyone.
Having read some of the posts on this and other threads I'm really not surprised you've been getting a number of emails. There are a number of very strange people on this site. I get my share of emails but I've never worried too much about quantity - only whether they come from someone with a bit of quality.
I'm also not surprised you get on well with some of the the younger ladies - you're nice looking enough and I'm sure you can turn on the charm when you want to. The reason the older ladies aren't taken in is because we've all at some time come across someone with issues that haven't been resolved, and recognise bad news when we see it.

Now if only YOU were looking to relocate the ladies of the UK would be more than happy to welcome you to our little Island. We love good manners and intelligence.

Above ground, just a little below heaven and close to your heart!
That is where you will find the most beautiful moral lady!

Thank you, Minnx, I truly appreciate the compliment.
To the OP ... from someone who has traveled a bit, the real answer is that there are beautiful women everywhere in the world ... including West Virginia (I've been there). As you get older, you'll realize there's more to beauty than the just the physical, and you need to stop getting in your own way if you truly want to discover the "secret" to finding love with such a woman.

| Best question ever asked. Posted: 5/7/2009 3:20:27 PM | | ... I have to laugh; never thought I'd see a man who actually wants people to tell him where to go. | |

| Best question ever asked. Posted: 5/8/2009 12:04:32 AM | Def the northwest, you will find open minded, refreshing and honest people like yourself here. It is good you posted this knowing you would get bitter resentful womens responses, now you know not to move there. Hey I have children & certainly don't have my life together, I don't find it one bit insulting that you have standards & expectations. That's your devine right and all you haters out there ! Get real & grow up. So Portland, 1 hr to coast, to the mountain, to vineyards, city & country and far more attractive woman with no worthy men. | |

| Best question ever asked. Posted: 5/8/2009 12:16:08 AM | | BTW This is a Canadian web site, I wouldn't be telling them to go back to their own Internet. POF may tell you to go back to American created dating networks. | |

| Best question ever asked. Posted: 5/8/2009 12:18:17 PM | | Hey I think California and Arizona women are probably the most attractive. I like men but when I lived there everyone was thin and tan and worked out. Besides I just think Arizona is beautiful anyways...There's nothing better then beautiful scenery and a beautiful woman... | |

| Best question ever asked. Posted: 5/8/2009 7:15:35 PM | I am 53-so what is it that you have to offer to these "great women"?You still not have answered that!Your looks? With age comes wisdom and anybody with any kind of common sence would walk away from you........you are here to ask questions but not man enough to accept the responses....you are only happy with answers that seem to fit with your mood...therefore, you will only be happy in a relationship where everything goes according to your tune!good luck .do not focus on the good looks anymore ...go for someone without self confidence-better luck that way! | |

| Best question ever asked. Posted: 5/9/2009 10:23:01 AM | Ok, I got sucked into this...
And sadly, I realize I may be just as shallow as our original OP....
I live in Southern California, about 20 miles east of Los Angeles. I USE to live on what is called collectively "the west side" - this includes Culver City, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, an area dripping with silicone and botox, aspiring models who would sleep with a kangaroo if they would get a photo shoot in a magazine, men with the morals of an alley cat, etc.
I now live in Glendora, with the charm of Mayberry RFD. It is a very cute town, it would be even cuter if I were married, or if I had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcyles, or were over 65. But I am now much closer to work, which makes sense financially.
Would I move back to the west side if an opportunity presented itself? In a red hot second. Different areas have a different energy - I bet there are plenty of people there who would like it here for the "folksy feeling".
I love the entertainment industry (independent artsy fartsy films, stuff like that) and there is much more of that in that area then where I currently live. I also find the people involved in the industry fascinating to watch.
We are all attracted to different things

| Best question ever asked. Posted: 5/10/2009 6:20:48 AM | Waaait...you want me stereotype woman based on geographic location? Yeah, not biting on that one but a valiant effort.
I've lived in several states across the country and have worked in several others (NY, GA, NC, MO, CA, AZ, AR, AL, MS, WA, OR, TX, SC, TN, VA hmmm...that's all I can think of off the top of my head) and I assure you there are beautiful intelligent confident women in every part. I'm not sure any of the one's I know personally would even think about dating a guy that would relocate to an area based solely on "quality of female stock" but that's a bit beside the point.
I would definitely suggest staying away from NE, TX, and TN. It's only a matter of time before your "acerbic wit" pisses one of the attractive (and generally pretty tough) ladies off and in (at least) these three states there's a high likelihood they'll just shoot you.

| Best question ever asked. Posted: 5/20/2009 9:27:33 PM | I loled. I'm sorry I peed in your wheaties by describing my ideal, and you are probably not it.
I loled, too, at the very idea that anyone gives a rat's ass about not being YOUR ideal.
So anyway, since you're not actually contributing anything, and only trying (unsuccessfully) to make me look silly,
Wee Man...you are doing a good job of making yourself look silly without any help. Well.... maybe not silly, so much as self-centered, immature, rude, crass, ignorant, intolerant, hateful, boorish, mean, and NOT funny.
Ah, heck, I'll take the high road. I hope you find a really nice girl to settle down with, no matter where you move to.
What do you suppose his chances are? I mean, wherever he goes, there he'll be.
